cuando tenga 70 años recordaré esto y lloraré, momentos dorados, sentirme parte de esta comunidad, se que es toxica, se que es competitiva pero también fué muy bonita :)
19:10 in this play, the spanish cast started screaming "SON ROBOTS!! SON ROBOTS!!" what means "They´re Robots!!! They´re Robots!!¨and became the most epic and known cast in spanish
Maybe: Today the game has a much higher pace which results in more kills per time. This makes a pentakill more likely to occur. It might be simplified but I guess this is the overall reason.
Weirdest thing for me was that I started playing LOL in 2013, and I started watching in 2013 as well because I wanted to learn and see what the best did. At the time of me wanting to watch some Pro games, it was too early for EU games, so i found the korean league. The first game I ended watching was the Faker (nidalee) vs Ambition (Kha'Zix), was an SKT from that point on as they were the first team I had watched, guess I got a bit lucky. (at that time I didn't know they were ripping up the b league in korea as the sister team to the OG SKT roster prior to Faker's iteration.
I just turned 26 and I watched League since im 12-13 .... Having seen all this and seeing the scene grow is something im really greatefull to have expierencend.
Playing League from Season 2 all the way to Season 8, this video was such a good nostalgia trip, the game was so different and it feels like it'll never capture the same feelings like it did back then.
It was a crazy time back when this all started. It felt like being a part of a huge community and I even remember so many players. There were a lot of big characters that made watching this esport more than just some sport event. To be fair I can't really compare that time with today. I was actually playing League back then and watched every game - even highlights from other regions. I still follow my favourite team (Fnatic) and will forever do so ... but nothing can recreate that hype of older League days.
People always think that tpa came out of nowhere. But lilballz came from clg. 2 month before worlds season zero the cyber games he switched to ftw. They went to tbe final sgainst clg. Clg won. And for the win rebranded as tpa. And 2011 at the cyber games sgain with chinese and korean na still won with the chicks. And worlds 2011 was the biggest upset. Na was unbeatable at that time and fnatic was ranked 4-5 best tesm in europe before the wualifier. The Qualificstion alone was an upset.
Lmao you're just bad as fuck to not know than when khazix evolved he was stunned for a moment, and that was what faker was aiming for Dude had already such a huge macro
Imsgine calling 2012 the underdog winning.... What was 2011 so? Eu was considered to be the worst region. China didnt even qualify(they played a year before on worlds season zero), na was the only region with full time players, that fnatic even compete in the eu qualifier was a wunder. That they wualified as third seed was a wonder again. And then in group stage everything was like eg wins worlds. But fnatic in ko stage.... And we shouldnt forget the reason why fnatic was so weak tthat time.languauge barrier. In triple aaa everyone spoke french, in gamed everyone spoke german. In the na teams everyone spoke english. So fnatic was complelty random. Xpeke lster said ghat they didnt have a shotcaller and the botlane were the only talking bc they were both german
the amount of intense moments 2022 had is insane. truly the best worlds tournament ever. The entire DRX run from being 6th in lck to 5 intense bo5 to secure the last 4th seed ticket, then playoffs to worlds title defeating EDG(reigning world champs), GenG (LCK winners) and T1(top most group in the world) will remain close to my heart forever. The story, the emotions, Deft in his 10th year, it all came full circle. i think this yr fell quit short compared to last yr, idk if it was the swiss stage format instead of playoffs or just one-sided wins. Also T1 was overwhelmingly strong against lpl teams. fakers azir ult into Ruler & reclaiming the title was historic tho.
Great compilation. Of course there are things you missed; it'd be impossible not to. But there aren't that many! And it looks like you chose good quality sources for most of these clips, unlike a lot of compilations I've seen. I only wish the timing had worked out so we could've gotten some of the crazy Worlds 2023 plays in here... but of course, if you waited, then I'd just be saying that about the next tournament, lol.
