On this channel I play Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Origins, Arkham Knight, SSKTJL.
I am a huge fan of the Batman Arkham games and have been playing them all the way back in 2009 with Arkham Asylum which was my first ever 15 rated game! Since then I preordered each Arkham game and played on day one.
Batman simply ditched the armored suit since he saw it as a crutch and he needed to be able to handle threats in case he doesn't have it. In return, the more mobile and flexible suit isn't able to handle the G force produced by the booster.
Arkham knight drops a lot of references to origins throughout the game. The biggest one probably being that you can see pioneers bridge connecting Arkham city to the diamond district and royal hotel in the background.
Tbf it’s rare death animation but it’s too obviously of what is he going to do when he catch u, he just simply eat u cuz he’s a hungry croc he’s not highly intelligent like he’s somehow decides to kidnap u and turn into a croc or something else abnormal
Only character of the dlc ones i did all the riddler challenges and campaigns And i had fun too For some reason cant bother with catwoman and Robin is anoying to me
There are multiple references to Origins in Arkham Knight, the grapnel can easily be proved away with with more armored suit being able to take the G-force while his sleeker suits later cannot and that's why there's a prototype in City because he had to make a new one and the Blackgate meeting could quickly be considered a retcon since there have been retcons before in the Arkhamverse, like Hugo Strange's character bio in Asylum mentioning that he's fought Batman before but in City, they face off for the first time.
Arkham Knight made Origins canon considering the evidence locker. also Deathstroke and Firefly mentioned their last fights with Batman in their sidequests
BATMAN ARKHAM COLLECTION 🔥🔥🔥 Got it back in Spring this year for $13 and now I’m wishing Origins was still up, cause they would probably put it on sale too
In the comics Hush was a very pesky villain that threw Bruce's life into a downward spiral. In the game his plan was so inept that he didn't account for a retinal scanner being used.
I bought a few days ago. I already had it last month in the game pass and bought like 3/4 of the skins and the red hood dlc. But ist still really worth it
@@johngarcia2242 nah I had it in the game pass and the bundle costed 40 € back then. (6 moths ago) I then made a list on add ons that I bought for the game cause I didn’t want so spend more than 15€. Now I bought the bundle.
the joker titan boss fight at the end diminishes The joker's character IMO. he is known to put on a show and him taking the titan formula didn't won me over as a boss fight. this is not how the joker does it.
Honestly if Hush and Azrael had better roles, it would have added a lot more depth in arkham knight. Scarecrow attacking the bat, hush attacking Bruce, and Azrael trying to basically just make him retire. It would have been a three way battle
The character bios, audio logs, and city stories from the games should be considered a lower tier of canonicity than the actual story of the games themselves; they are supplemental material to help with worldbuilding, but can ultimately be overwritten by later entries. Yes, Joker and Harley meeting in Blackgate does contradict the patient interview tapes from Asylum, but by that same token Asylum's Hush character bio is contradicted by Arkham City's Hush side mission which established him as a new villain who didn't know Batman's identity. Additionally, Arkham Knight breaks some of this continuity in order to better emphasize its connection to Origins; Firefly's Asylum bio is unlocked when you scan a newspaper talking about a recent Firefly attack, suggesting that he was regularly causing trouble in Gotham, wheras in Knight, they made a point of emphasizing how he hadn't returned to Gotham during the decade since Origins. imo, Arkham Origins breaking canon from the previous games is largely a symptom of the Arkham series evolving out of just being a standard Batman adventure which could basically be slotted into the main comic continuity, and into being its own distinct universe.
I remember getting the collection on sale on PS5, one of the best sales ever, just wish there was a next gen update for knight, and also origins, but for the price it was worth it for just the 3
Return to Asylum gets a Series X frame rate increase too, especially during the combat and predator challenges when only one area is loaded in and lets the game flow so much more seamlessly (as much as the combat allows you anyway) The main game doesn’t run as fast, but it’s still a frame rate improvement over Xbox One X/S Now if only we had that for Knight, which would make the most sense
