Welcome to the youtube channel for Can You Roll a Crit? Dedicated to all things related to Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team, sometimes Warhammer Underworlds, as well as anything involving crits!
Re: Hierotek - do you think the difference in performance is due to top players abandoning them as a faction after the nerf? I am always curious about the effect top players and their choices have on these stats!
Not sure to understand how win rate is calculated. For example, I was looking at Exaction squad: 70 games. 33 wins. So 33/70 x 100 = 47,14% of winrate. In your excel, it became 49,9% Same for all lines, real win rates seems to be below your number every time
I am still crossing my fingers that we will get one more balance dataslate before KT3...I need my Necrons to be saved! Or at least an FAQ to add back living metal. GIVE US SOMETHING!
@@CanYouRollaCrit nerf nanomine was a very good thing. But nerf living metal... it was hard :( Someone have tried Technomancer ? Would it have become necessary to give all glory to this kill team?
Looks to actually be the healthiest meta we have seen in quite a while. Even a bunch of the high (>55%) and low (<45%) win ranked teams were just over the line. Dare we say that KT21 is actually a balanced game system? 😉
I know, I am just talking crap a little. As much as I have been unhappy with GW over the past 20 years, I have to give them big props with the general care with which they have engaged in rules changes with KT21. It really is kind of impressive! 👏
Sadly, they're kind of a dead faction. They only had around 20 games and no event wins. You can see their stats on the site if you turn off the 'low sample filter'. 53% win rate for all events and a 56% for GT+.
Blades of Khaine is not part of the GT+ winrates and placements stat. They won 2 events according to the podium stats but then don't show up in the GT+ winrates. Is that oversight or they only won smaller tournaments?
Yes, they only won smaller tournaments. So the reports filter out any faction with less than 30 games unless that faction won an event in that category (i.e. If you have under 30 games you have to win a GT+ event to show in the GT+ stats. If I remember kroot actually did just that). I knew such a filter would make people sad (especially the 5 people who still play Chaos Cults). However, the website contains the monthly stats and you can turn that filter off in the 'remove low samples' drop down.
It turns out they weren't Chaos mutants after all. It was a tyranid infection and they're all Brood Brothers now. On a serious note, they only had around 20 games and no event wins. You can see their stats on the site if you turn off the 'low sample filter'. 53% win rate for all events and a 56% for GT+.
If someday I start really kicking some butt and win all the time with my Pathfinders I’ll stop playing with them!! Powerful team indeed but so hard to master!!!
Genestealer Corrupted Gangs from The Book of Ruin have access to Aberrants, you could use the Malstrains for that in "regular" Necromunda. According to the WarComm articles, there are 4 more types of Spyrers beside the Orrus. I'm *ass*u*me*ing that the rules for them will be in the upcoming Book of the Underlands. But it has just been pre-previewed so far so no telling when it is actually coming out.
Great video. Well reviewed. I love your backdrop!! This box though. Its a lot of money these days. $10 worth of plastic, a book, some cardboard, some paper. And you get terrain bits!!! Not Even real terrain! That's a lot of money to add to my PILE OF SHAME! TBH, it would probably sit in the corner of my room unpainted and unbuilt for so long that GW would change the rules, lol! Yeah, RENT and My Family first. I do like your video though.
Isn't faction TO1 easier than 2 since the enemy doesn't need to have scored a kill (which requires activation) they just need to have activated? So 2 is retaliation , 1 is retaliation *or* punishing misplays ?
Hi John. We played each other back in April at a tournament in Andover. After you'd finished stomping my poor Fellgor into the ground 😂, we had a chat and you showed me all the work in progress pics of this team. It's great to see how you've realised this project, I think the finished team looks awesome.
@@CanYouRollaCrit value. This box is the same price for less stuff (mainly terrain) Secundus looks better for people that already have a necromunda setup.
I love it dude! Your process and using proxies is always a highlight of my joy of this hobby! Keep up the good work, I'll see you on the West Coast if you ever come back with the other BATS. If I can add one edit - since you live in the UK, you think of using Versatile Terrain? I used it for my breachers, the name tags really helped showing their roles.
I’ve been dreaming of doing a Gellerpox conversion team with AoS death faction. Little crypt gouls for glitchlings, fellbats for flys, Kainan’s Reapers for the Thrice Cursed and mutants, some type of Nighthaunt with loads of chains for the Bloatspawn, and like and Abhorrant and maybe Radukar or Ferlain for the last two hulks. LOTS of work and money though.
This game has got me very interested. I'm going to be making a house greim astra militarum squad for bug hunting and retrieval of lost stc's and equipment. Just imagine finding a baneblade in the lower hive.
