Interior looks nicer than expected, I heard the 996 era wasn't as deluxe feeling. But looks pretty good to me. the 996 era lights from the refresh are pretty trick.
@@etherjoe505 Yeah I didn’t mind the interior at all. If you find a well cared for example the interiors hold up. I’ve seen ratty ones where there’s a lot of broken plastic and stuff. The 996 is s cool platform though, and this car ripped.
It worked one for me but for some reason my key fob stopped again. The first time I had put a new battery in it before I tried this so new battery is in. I get it to the point where I get the locks popping mode, but the buttons don't work or atleast the car isn't recognizing them
Someone as risk averse as you does not fit the Lamborghini owner description. We are bold risk takers...investors...thrill seekers and dont mind paying a dealership to keep the car top notch!
@@productreviewspecialist I don’t really believe it has anything to do with risk aversion. I know a lot of Lamborghini owners who are very risk averse. It has to do with one thing; I was a naive kid without the funds necessary to take proper care of the car long term. And so I sold it.
The Gallardo was clearly WAY OVER his budget and that's why he sold it. He went from a 100k gallardo to a 22k porsche so it was clearly too expensive. He should buy a Toyota corolla
@@stevenberry1574 Hey steve thanks for the comment, had a ton of other expensive cars before the Gallardo, and the Cayman was not $22k, thanks for watching bro!
What I learned from his story is timing a little luck and covid. No real bills in school, got a great deal on M5, covid inflation in effect then sells M5 for a good profit. Then finds an incredible deal on a R8 that guy was trading in to the dealer so he obviously got a steal. Then the covid R8 market was in full effect ( still is ) and he sells it to make another LARGE profit then finds another unreal almost scam deal on craigslist for the Lambo. Keeps that for 4 months and makes another profit after repairs i would assume then buys the cayman. Now the Porsche market is more of a cult market where not a drastic amount of logic goes into whats worth value or not. So im sure the cayman is up a bunch i value since kept it. Now this might sound negaavtice but its just an unreal time in life that worked well with his current tuming in life. BUT keep in mind that most people in college would of not saved a pennt even if they didnt have college debt and thats what makes this story where it is today as well. Cant buy a car with no money and he did that will discipline and a goal! Cheers
Great video. Anyone have removal instructions for a Convertible? 2007 E93. I don't have a back console. The front console goes all the way to the back seat so no back cover
@@geepismyname I am not positive on a coupe vehicle, however I imagine the process is similar. I had a 335i back in the day. I think the rear air vents and trim should pop off as well, and probably give access to the area where the port/cable are sitting.
@@boostedhatch3 Correct, totally bone stock except for the axle back. We both thought it was very quiet at the time, but it is a great sound. Dinans paired with high flow cats or catless sound amazing. We both ended up getting Meisterschaft systems later, which we also were huge fans of. I miss the heck out of this car, and truly wish I’d kept it.
One question, why would you let your oil level get so low in the first place? It takes 10 seconds to check the oil level when you have the electric read out in front of you. As long as your car is warmed up and level you have more than enough time to check it whilst waiting at some traffic lights...
@@jantewhite6643 Not entirely positive, maybe the coupes are a slightly different process? I assumed this process would apply to a coupe pretty much in the same fashion. Maybe someone with a coupe has a write up on the forums?
@@sgfreak96, the coupes are much more complexed, and harder to reach. I guess I'll have to take it to the shop...before I tear up the interior. I appreciate you, thanks!
The s*it eating grin on his face is priceless. watching someone else experience a car that you put blood sweat and tears into, and feeling the car you built In it’s fullest from the passenger seat is an amazing feeling Amazing build bro
You sir are a national treasure 🔨 Got my Audi A4 up and running, few taps with the hammer and Presto ☀️ Can’t believe this has worked. Thank you bro. Subscribed ⭐️ 🇮🇪
