Nice! I unfortunately blew the seals on my injector pump so the car is down for the moment. Having trouble locating the exact leak. Replaced two seals and system still seems to be taking in air unfortunately.
Great video. Please keep us all posted. As for your fuel leak. Can you see an actual leak? Or just notice air in the line? ALH are very common to have air in the lines. I think the issue is the check valve in the tank. Some people just drill it out.
I ended up selling it since I was unable to repair it sadly. The car was in terrible shape but it was fun to toy with for awhile! Manually hand pumping from the tank resulted in no air. Air was getting sucked into the injector pump, and then sent back through the filter to go back to the fuel tank. Then air was getting stuck the filter making things even worse.
Dude this is cool! You said vegetable oil is just as energy efficient as diesel, would that mean the efficiency for MPG would be the same? I’m mind blown the engine can run off of different stuff lol
Thanks for watching it man haha, I’m equally as mind blown about it. The veg oil is just as energy dense so the car wont lose any hp running on veg. It’s also no less energy efficient, so it should get the same mpg as diesel. Kerosene though is less energy dense so the cars a lot slower/less hp if I run that. I can’t wait to try other bizarre stuff 😂
