Check the communication ports of each inverter. If you have the new version the ports will be BMS and RS485. In that case you connect the batterie to the Master inverter (Probably it doesn't matter in which one you connect them but I prefer the Master one). If the ports are CAN and RS485 you will need a Hub. (Or you can make your own cable.)
Hi, I have a question... I have a 3-phase 240 V system in my home and two Growatt SPF 6000+ inverters. Can I use those on the 2 phases of my system leaving the 3rd phase intact? I have seen diagrams for seting up and connecting 3 inverters (one on each phase) but no only 2. Would that cause any problems? Thank you!
@@user-wb6qf7ht1v I think you can do that. Try setting them up like a 3 phase system (without the 3rd phase). If this doesn't work, you can install the inverters as they are in separate systems with only one phase. (Two single phase systems) And the third phase you leave it as it is now. I'm m not 100% sure if this will work. Pretty sure it will, but still, you have to test it...

Yes, you can make the inverters work in 3 phases and connect each phase of the residential network to the inverters. You can check the manual on how exactly you can connect them. I'm planning to switch to 3 phases as well as I have 3 phases coming to my house. Before you do that please make sure to balance each phase in your house. Because with 3 inverters you will have 5KW on each phase. (Total 15KW on the 3 phases)
@@angelkm2599 If you want to stay on single phase with the inverters and inject, you can only do that with one of the 3 phases that are coming to your house. Just grab one of the phases and connect it to the input of each inverter.

@@angelkm2599 The inverters cannot convert 3 phases into a single phase. No inverter can do that (as far as I know). So in order to use 3 phases, your inverters must be in 3 phase mode. If they are in single phase mode, you can only input single phase.
Setting 23? When you are using single phase with 3 inverters in parallel the manual says to set it to PAL instead of SIG. But then it gives me a fault. What is your opinion? I am using exactly the same combination as your system...
@@valentinvsk4621 What do you mean with bank? You can connect different Ah packs (batteries) in one system. But you cannot connect different Ah cells in one pack (battery). I have 4 batteries that are 200Ah and 3 that are 230Ah
@@golden4o so I have an 85Ah battery and a 200Ah battery,both are from the same brand, but the seller said I cannot parrallel them because of the different capacities.I would like to use both on them on my system.Would it be possible? Thanks
@@valentinvsk4621 Technically you can parrallel them, but one of the batteries will be depleted long before the other and if you have a big load the BMS of the other might shut off the power. That is why it is not recommended to parrallel them.

Yes. The charger is great. The only downside is for Teslas. There is no unlock button on the handle and I have to unlock the port from my phone or the car.

Great info. I just need to know whats the pin order 4th pin CAN H , 5th pin CAN L 6th pin Ground in the Growatt 5000es side. Is ground pin matters? My battery ground pins are PIN 2, PIN 7 CAN L and CAN H are correctly aligned
Can you explain how you connected 3 inverters to 4 batteries? Someone told me: Growatt SPF 5000 ES in parallel its only need to connect the main inverter to batteries in parallel. The Growatt SPF 5000 ES parallel cable will get the needed data from the slave inverters.
Unfortunately no. I got the Charget and the clamp in one package and I cannot see any markings on it. But, I'm pretty sure that you can use any CT clamp for AC.

What order in the cable then aka Color order? Close picture on the cable head to see the colour order= Null modem? RJ45 head Write colour to the left nr2 colour etc due to missing the cable !
I was unable to test the PV linkage. I need to get more sensors for 3 phase system. My main fuses are 63A and the one going to the charger is 50A so no issues there.
@@komjazz I have only one phase but it is splited on three conductors. No idea why I don't have 3phase input. So that's why I use single phase charger. In order to use pv linkage I have to monitor those three conductors.
Small hint: Energy cannot be saved. So if I want to boil my water, I always have to use the same amount of energy for one liter. Christian's method relies on a longer period of time with less power in order to be able to use the power provided by the PV as efficiently as possible - so consumption peaks are intercepted. The prerequisite is that you have at least a small balcony power station, and you don’t need an expensive battery either. Example of a kettle: Without a dimmer, the 2500W - 600W PV system needs = 1900W, which you have to pay more for. If I turn the kettle down to 600W with a dimmer, then every weak PV system can now supply each consumer independently and independently, because the 2500W kettle becomes a 600W kettle thanks to the dimmer. Hello: I have 16 model: 3.2 v 280 Ah batteries along with “Overkill Solar” battery management system. I have cut the wood that I will be using to construct the bottom of my wooden frame to hold all 16 batteries. I would like to purchase battery tape to provide support to all 16 batteries and to secure the battery terminals. After I’ve connected each one of the BMS leads to the positive terminals which includes the black lead to the negative terminal and the red lead to the positive terminal, I’m not sure what battery wires and devices should I use to connect two Growatts 3,000 kilo watt inverters to the 16 batteries.
