Sound Shop Vlogs is an episodic vlogcomedy about an event production company from New Jersey. We do everything from tiny corporate events to big arenas and we do eem' well. My videos are heavily influenced by my love of professional wrestling, 90's sitcoms, and Howard Stern. Which leads me to my long disclaimer below...
****Content Disclaimer**** These videos are meant for entertainment purposes only. Most company's and people's names that we work for or with are redacted (beeped out) unless they don't mind being mentioned. Also, while the people, places, and events in these videos are real, situations and personality's are exaggerated at times for comedic purposes.
Lol...sorry...but the wing is incredible and it's not Behringers fault that the live event owner is too busy to learn a new system and can't be arsed to invest in the learning curve...the wing is incredible.
I have nothing to mock. This was oddly informative, had a good narrative arc, and the theme wasn't everyone yelling at you for filming. All that tetris finally paid off, or you got lucky with that pallet layout....
Man, Fulcrum is damn good. Especially the passive cardioids, I've done some sports venues with those and it's remarkable how much it helps with the low end clarity. Even with the inevitable premium that US-made products get here in Europe, I still feel it's worth it. The fact I'm not tied to a specific amp helps, nine times out of ten it ends up being Powersoft - their stuff is REALLY compact, sounds good and has been very reliable in my experience. I've got 25-year old DIGAM setups still going strong despite being pushed hard almost every day.
Kay should go back to the m32 Dl32 system for the small stuff, Dave Ratt has solved the aes50 issues with long snake runs up to 110m with his new sound cat cable.
Yup! 😂 I’m a theater manager now and I totally get it. Audio lighting video building sets for musicals, finances, costumes, props, high school students working, scheduling, rentals, R&D, grant writing, proposals, bidding wars, …. It’s exhausting 😅
Pre EQ sound - right out of the box… Then I guess the JBL VTX can sound better then L Acoustics if you EQ it right? 😂 just to get that pre EQ sound and EQ it even better than L Acoustic’s sound? For top level systems - It all depends on how good the sound engineer is? JBL VTX’s can sound better than L Acoustic’s pre EQ sound? 😅 Would love for you guys to get a demo of the Panthers as well ❤
When setting up at the venue, do you guys still unstack the triple decker subs or usually just leave them on the rolling castors? 😊 Wonderful VTX subs!! Subapalooza let’s gooo! ❤
Would be soooo nice to see an interview or maybe just a friendly chat with Dave Rat and K about JBLs and L Acoustics 🤣 Really love this channel! That distinct signature laugh of yours is very contagious. Hahaha 🤣
Interested to see how the pre-rig truss fits in the trucks loaded up. I’m assuming it’s a case much like the G28’s - a truck just for truss ? Maybe I’m missing something - and that’s why I don’t do lights 😂
There's so issues with this pre-rig. Not sure if Kay will address in a video but maybe. It's not that great. Doesn't fit in truck the way it should either!
