Eve always humble and good natured . Google the New Seekers with Eve singing " We've Got To Do It Now " from 1973 she looked stunning in her Purple Dress .
Scott "Love Handles" White(y) & the Olympian Mark "Fat Boy" Robertson @ Earlston, playing Melrose in the final #Legends #1MoreTime #DefendTheTrophy & did 1 commentator sounded like Gary Parker!? Must b wrong, lol Brilliant!
What a lovely interview, Graham was always a great bass player, and it was very interesting to hear how Sandy came to join them. For me though, Marmalade will always be the classic line up featuring Junior, Dean and Alan. Full marks to Sandy for keeping the flame burning, although I think of them now in 2024 as a very good tribute group with no original members.
It was a great day out. I am so glad I made the journey down where I met a lot of folks I have not seen for many years. Lets hope it can be a springboard for this well loved old club to find a way forward.
I remember the staying up late and watching the great man win the gold medal in the 200 metres breaststroke in Montreal in 1976 it gave me goosebumps watching and also listening to the late great Alan Weeks with his fantastic commentary of David Wilkie is absolutely superb and it was great sporting memory RIP David .
RIP David Wilkie and deepest sympathy to David's family and friends. One of my earliest memories was David winning Olympic gold in 1976. RIP Olympic Champion David Wilkie 🙏
Glenn Johnson RIP Frank.Last met Frank at Wimbourne in Dorset back in 2018,along with Nicky Gillis.Such a lovely guy and had previously seen him a number of times since the 70`s.I grew up singing and treasure the moments doing the odd yodel with Frank when he visited.Sadly missed.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Frank Ifield - a singer instantly recognisable and what a pleasure it was to hear ALL the words. Condolences to Frank's wife Carole, his two children and all those who loved him. 🙏
