Come visit Scotland through its incredible stories and beautiful places! My name is Graeme and my ever present shadow is Molly the Labrador.
Together, we have been sharing the best of Scotland's Stories for years on social media and through guided tours of Scotland. This is a space for me to share some epic stories from Scottish Folklore and take you on a Scotland tour from the comfort of your chair!
You should hae a visit doon at Duff House in Banff. I went wee my family and it was amazing. There’s a good walk to the mausoleum, and a good cafe in there too!
@@mikalasimpson7789 pouring concrete and wiring lighting to turn one into a national museum is also probably disrespectful but that's what's happening to a whole bunch of these sights. So which do you really think the spirits or descendants would feel is disrespectful? Me trying to connect with the space while practicing Celtic paganism or turning it into a construction sight?
@scotlandsstories626 They're clearly long shirts, which is the definition of a tunic. That you mentioned kilts at all, is feeding into a popular misconception, even if it's not technically promoting it. If you had any idea how much time I've had to spend, over the last 20 years, explaining to members of the public (that have come or been sent to me... I'm not talking about random people on the internet) that the kilt is less than 250 years old, you would understand why I think mentioning Picts and kilts in the same sentence is not a good idea.
@scotlandsstories626 You do realize that the oldest existing tailored kilts date to the late 18th century, yes? The kilt could date back slightly farther, but at absolute most, that might make it 350 years old. But we really have no pictorial or written evidence that the kilt dates back more than 250 years, either.
O.M.GOD!!......What an utter pleasure to watch this and hear all your stories man.....very interested in prehistoric archeology. Aberdeen here and never been up there strange as it seems! I will now tho.....keep them coming as you now have another avid watcher/reader. spence.
That’s cool man. I study the stone sculptures from the ancient times when they’re not very recognizable. There’s a line drawn in the time where stone is not recognizable and when it is. We can learn the former.
