Best places to sleep 1. Truck stops ( it's legal and there are bathrooms / showers and lots of light ) 2. Rest areas again ... Bathrooms ,it's legal and you have lots of lighting 3. Cracker Barrels ... It's legal lots of lighting and great food in the morning / bathrooms . Usually they are in an area with gas stations and hotels so you can use the bathrooms . Note: I wouldn't ever sleep at a Walmart . I don't know why I just don't . Never felt right about it . I'm sure you can find camping spots and other places but for my own personal experiences these three places have done me well . God bless you .

Yes, you can attach it to a normal tripod when you attach the extended grip (it has a thread on the bottom of it, which the camera by itself does not). I feel as though I have a downward trajectory in my life. I’m 19, I go to a top 10 school, I’m doing reasonably well academically, and have a full ride. I don’t know what to do, I feel as though I did everything right even “winning the jackpot” of college admissions. But the stress and social life of the college is such that I have lost significant portions of my memory, will to live, and ability to function normally. “Investing in yourself” young is weird, you lose all the things you wanted and waste it all learning things you don’t care about for an abstract payoff at a later date. It’s torturous.
@alen2937
@alen2937 10 дней назад
well, begin to train yourself in the art of you are alone and you need to disregard social life. Being social is not what gives success, to know how to communicate is what provides success. Also, play older games, disregard any woke stuff, practice critical thinking, be true to yourself.
@mindful_wander
@mindful_wander 9 дней назад
Hey Antonio. Sorry to hear it’s been a struggle lately. Sounds like there is indeed a ton of pressure and stress happening. It sounds like much of that is coming from academic pressure but can you elaborate more on how the social life in college is leading to this spiral? Your health is the most important thing. Without it, none of the other stuff matters. And in this day and age, I feel that we’re finally coming to terms with the idea that “health” includes physical, mental, and emotional. It can be great to push yourself beyond your current limits but that can be overdone as well.

Great video essay Brandon, I like the part where you explain the difficulty of maintaining a relationship that had high highs and low lows and that sometime incompatibility can really be something that destroys a relationship. @mindful_wander
@mindful_wander 9 дней назад
Hey Abdalla. Thanks a lot! All the best to you in navigating your relationship. Here is what helped me a ton in that specific relationship - personality tests. And believe me, I use to think those things were dumb. But I gave these two specific ones a chance and I realized that comparing my answers to my partners REALLY helped me understand myself and my partner. I was able to see the ways in which we were alike (which was great), I could see the ways in which she was different than me (which gave her strengths that I don’t have), and most importantly it helped me identify the aspects of our personalities that were so different and so crucial that it made the relationship a constant struggle. The two tests we took together are Enneagram and 16 Personalities. Give ‘em a try if you’re interested

@@mindful_wander I invested into the skill of drawing and I’ve been contemplating which path to go. I’d like the freedom to WFH so I’ve been looking into potential jobs online things but AI decimated a lot of opportunities with freelance like Fiverr although it already has been bleak with the issues of outsourcing to cheaper countries. I’ve thought about concept art but the situation is similar. It seems AI hasn’t caught up to 3d modeling which opens more opportunities but who knows when AI will catch up to that as well. It’s difficult because there has to be a compromise between freedom of WFH, creating from my own passion and enjoyment instead of appealing to markets, and being able to make a living. I imagine you must feel similar. It seems that the most satisfying but much more arduous path is to create your own brand and products. I think I’ll take your advice and try out a google certificate in marketing. Thanks again! Keep up the content. Love hearing your perspective.

Great video, Brandon! Some people ask themselves these sorts of questions at any age, not just in their 30s, and are naturally just more free-spirited. I am definitely one of them, and I'm still in my late 20s. But I think that its true that the 30s seem like a real passage between the innocence of youth and the wisdom of old age. Maybe we just think differently about life as we go through it, and our thinking in each stage and decade reflects the circumstances we face in that time. In any case, I'm sure that the 30s are a lot lot less formative on a fundamental level than the 20s, so that's good!
