My PS5 feels like a wasted investment even in June 2024. All we’ve been given is essentially remakes of old games modernized for the hardware. The only notable exception off the top of my head is Helldivers 2, which sadly just isn’t my style of game.
If there are any fans of this game reading this, you definitely have to play dragons dogma 2. It gives me Soul Sacrifice meets Elden Ring Vibes. Super Fun!
Unpopular opinion - This is one of the best games on the Vita. BUT you have to use a modded vita with VitaGrafix enabled and set to 960x544 resolution and max overclocking with VitaShell. Then it looks nice and runs pretty good (close to 30 FPS for most of the time). The game is full of content (main campaign which is pretty long, DLCs, raid mode, offline/online), I don't think there are a lot of Vita games that offer that much. Yes, the loading times are still long. I know that you played it again on the switch, which of course looks and runs much better, but for a person who is playing it for the first time and wants to play on Vita with the modding enhancements, this is a really great game.
It's a "Souls like game" except without Team Ninja these games won't exist. Now.. don't salt, people of from software' toxic community. The combat is pretty accurate with what a real life combat would be like; you can't expect a particular opponent to attack you; combat is chaotic 70% of the time. The game forces you to play without lock on sometimes because that's the way it should be. Love the bow, btw ❤
As amazing as they are, Sadly you've just remind how there is has been no innovation in gaming probably since the Wii. Make bad guy, place bad guy on screen, press buttons to defeat bad guy. Don't get me wrong, I love playing video games, but I'm doing now what I was doing 25 years ago (point crosshair at bad guys, press shoot). Yes I know, I can go play 'indie' games and I do, we just need something to shake up gaming (VR?)
I also feel that we’ve hit the ceiling in terms of innovation with games. Gaming has been out for so long now that there’s not much left developers can do I feel. I think as long as you’re playing and having a good time with games is all that’s important regardless of whether it’s innovative or not. Imo
Lol. You forgot Minecraft. 😂 Minecraft is just the Exactly same on almost everywhere except the DLC content and all. Maybe also, Injustice Gods among us is also almost identical to the PC and Console versions. The only drawback was the graphics I noticed.
I haven't looked into your videos as I'm new here, but the absolute pinnacle of underrated this generation for me was Paradise Killer, an investigative collect-athon with just immaculate vibes that I felt totally lost in for the time I spent there. Ticks all the boxes for a game to spend a bit of time in before bed or during a casual game sesh. Writing, humour and music are all A+, and yet I barely see anyone mention it ever.
I never play Metal Gear Solid 3 anywhere I only played it on ps vita 2000 slim omg this game is so good even on small handheld I just finished Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 on vita and Final fantasy x on vita
Really need to look st PSVR2 my fav games in no particular order. Madison VR, RE4 &8, Star Wars Tales from the Galaxies Edge, GT7, Synapse, Red Matter1&2, The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 1&2, Moss Book 1&2, No Mans Sky, The Light Brigade. All available through PSVR2. Honorable mentions Pavlov VR, Breachers, Hellsweeper, FNAF1&2, Legedary Tales, Horizon Call of the Mountain, Ancient Dungeons, Puzzling Places, Beat Sabar, Walkabout Mini Golf, UltraWings2, Genotype, Vertigo2, Hubris, Switchback VR, Kayak VR, Pistol Whip, Ancient Dungeons, Song in the Smoke Rekindled, Vampire Justice League, Crisis Vrigade, Ovrdark, Propagation Paradise Hotel, and Ghost signal. Any of which could be subsituted in my top 10. Whoever says theres no games for this great accessory is surely mistaken, over 200 since launch.
I’m very curious about the vr but I just can’t imagine myself being able to play for extended periods of time wearing a head set. There was one game I really wanted to try on ps4 vr. I can’t remember the name but you were in a cage and it dropped to the bottom of the ocean and you were able to see all the under water creatures on your descent down.
@@SuperJumpReviews The game you're thinking of is part of VR Worlds on PSVR. Some great bargains on the earlier headset, with an extensive catalogue of awesome games. It can take time to adjust to longer sessions in the headset, I started just 15 minutes at a time, slowly get used to longer, now over 4 hours. I would say get a fan, and dont try to push through any discomfort.
Once you play Warframe and finish the Second Dream you will realize that Warframe is THE underrated game you must play in any generation you haven't already done so. It may be the singular greatest quest in gaming, not even because it's the best the game offers, it probably isn't. But it sets the true expectation for the level of greatness you should expect in the game. Being that Warframe is free, it resets the expectations you should have for any game you actually pay for. THAT is why it is so important.
I’ve actually downloaded that game a while ago but never bothered to try it out. That just goes to show there are so many games out there that people have yet to play. Btw if that’s a free game what dlc are they trying to sell?
@@SuperJumpReviewsI haven't played the game in a few years so it could have changed, but they get their money from prime bundles, which give you instant access to new prime warframes, and the premium currency. Both of these are pretty easy to get for free though. I never spent any money on the game and had a great time
Really? I don’t know man. Maybe I need to play it again but it was just so long to me. I feel like they could’ve cut so much from that game. It felt 15 hours longer than it needed to be.
I know I'm in the minority but I value visuals way more than 60FPS. Most of the games you showed were in just performance mode which I never use, I don't care if I could get 120 FPS. But still nice to see the improvements just wish you showed more in visual mode.
The visual mode looks almost identical to performance mode. You probably need an 4k television set to see the difference. But yeah I always op for performance mode first.
