This channel is about bushcraft, hiking, testing tools, solo overnights, mountains, nature, sailing, breathing fresh air and enjoying life outside! I’m making my own universe with the camera and my music and I love to share it with you.
This has just appeared on my video suggestions. Lovely. I play mandolin & tenor guitar (and have had a bouzouki). What is the tuning here for your cittern? Beautiful I don't think anyone has asked you that question here; which is kind of refreshing because it means it's reached a wider audience than the player crowd :)
Very beautiful. And nicely done drone as well! I'm debating between a Goldtone and Eastman Octave mando right now...which brought me here. I like the LOOK of the Eastman, but the deeper resonance of the Goldtone...
So so beautiful warm sound ..from where do I get this types of traditional instrument...I love traditional irish instruments and traditional European instruments but our country you will never get this types of instruments but Iam looking for this instrument I never get it ❤ From india
Wow! I love the tone! I play an octave mandolin handmade for me in British Columbia. My music is mostly Celtic but your music is very inspiring so my music evolves! Thank you for sharing!
I miss your videos brother. Haven't watched this video in a few years.... still speechless. It's like I saw it the first time again. Hope all is fine with you!
I am Swedish, not Norwegian, but this cuts right to my soul anyway. edit: also big ups to Mattias Pérez for suffering for the art when a mosquito lands on his arm at 1:06 and he just keeps playing after looking at it
What do you mean swedish? This tune was made by my great-great-great grandfather Otte Nilsson Haukanes, who died in 1847, was from Folkedal, Norway and is buried in Torvastad, Norway. Nothing swede about it. ;)
Could you tell more about the cittern? How it's tuned, the history of its use, the sort of setting it would be played in the folk tradition Thanks for the fantastic playing!
Hi, Kristian. It's great to visit long-time friends here in yt. It's been a while. Hope all is well with you and hope to see you back on track again very soon. As always, I enjoy watching your entire clips. Nature is indeed the best way to relax and breathe fresh air, and fresh energy. You were so lucky to have an awesome interaction with that lovely sheep. I love the panoramic view. Must be so nice to swim in that lake alone. So peaceful and quiet. Thanks for sharing, Kristian. Can't wait for your new upload. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!🎄 -Avi
@@storiesfilm-kristianwolski7950 Ordered mine from folkfriends in Hamburg. I`m not sure, who made it, but I like the way it sounds and the playing touch… But, I would be ready to invest more, if there was a luthier for Citterns. You can't have too many instruments, can you?
Going back through some of the channels I subscribe to and I haven't seen you post in quite a while. Hope you're doing OK - I really liked your videos. Cheers brother.
