It''s my summer pastime. Gathering berries, then towards the end of the season I gather as many as I can to make jams. Naturally sourced foods are so fulfilling.

Nice film. My great grandparents came to the US from Sweden around the turn of the century. My grandfather would speak Swedish once in a while, especially when his sisters came to visit. The woods are very similar here (New Hampshire, Maine)

Ate a lot of berries in the woods when I was a kid. Blueberries were definitely one of our favorites. They grow wild in Northern Ontario. Not as large as cultivated ones but just as tasty. Maybe more. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Those biscuits looked great with the hot blueberry jam

I've been trying to get a blueberry patch growing on my homestead but it's failed so far. I've kept the new plants in pots and so far they've lived through the very hot weather. I'm thinking I need to cover the ground with plants to have enough shade for them to maintain. Watering is automatic. I've added acidity too. We can't beat mother nature who grows them in the forest without our help. Thanks for sharing! Butch in Idaho.

Also you had to call them blueberries in the title otherwise most of your viewers wouldn't know what you were talking about 🤣.
