The reason people want writing samples is to see what it looks like in your hand while you’re using it. It is an instrument correct? Don’t rush the writing samples. It’s not about the refill you have in there, like you stated.
I just got one Yesterday in 2 colors! Whiskey as main and 2nd color is Chestnut, and Havana Cigar Thread... going to be LIT! i still have the original Topsider.. its cool but the cash is a pain and gets frayed n stuff..
Thanks, great video! Totally caught me off guard with the 700ml Vapur and the hard shell sunglasses case. I would never have guessed that would all fit. 👌
Thinking of upgrading to CTB 26L from CHZ 26L. Seeing CTB has more compartments; is the main large interior compartment smaller capacity compared to CHZ?
Thanks for making a load out video. I just ordered the 18L and have a CAP 2 on the way. I am curious what notebook and pen holder you are using? I would like something similar.
I think you did not flip back to the American side for thickness because it is not over an inch thick. And the markings on your tape are mm from what I can see.
I mean short of the ergonomics of how you are holding the pen, the writing test is irrelevant. The ink inside can be switched out to any parker/parker like refill. If they made the ink, then it would be understandable to see how their insert performs. When you can put any ink insert you like, the way it writes has nothing to do with the pen itself. This is a review of the pen, the machining, the design, etc... not the $5 ink insert they provided with it. Everyone has their own preference on ink.
I'm telling! That sucks you might have your knife confiscated! I can carry anything I want in my area of America. Sorry you live in a p*ssy country! Great edc!

3 and 4 almost perfect 4 me. Been on a sarch 4 the perfect 1 4 years, cant seem 2 find 1. Closest I havve ever gotten is the American Bench Craft THe Frontier wallet. 99.9999% perfect 4 my needs.
Got mine today in the same colour. Not a fan of the others, and thinking about getting some custon titanium scales made. Love the action, and have had a very similar experience to you with it. Definitely a light use knife that is very fun to use. One of the very few UK legal Carry flippers out there. Great video! Greetings from Wales!
Nice review. It took me a moment to realise that you are a fellow Scot (after watching/hearing many 'Murican reviews). I have just ordered this from Cyclaire Knives for £43 inc p&p. Hopefully I will be able to flip it as effortlessly as you seem to be able to. I intend to use the index finger "reach-around" but time will tell. Nice looking dark micarta accentuates what I consider to be a very elegant minimalist design. Subscribed to your dulcet tones 😊
The lack of a loop for carabiner/Hub key fob/etc on the Admin Pouch was such a huge disappointment to me. It wouldn't have taken away from the appearance and it would have added so much in the way of utility. Sure, you can sew one on, but at this price point I don't feel like that should be necessary. I have to say the Hub Pouch is cute and might be my next buy for small necessities for work. Very helpful video - good demonstrations of what fits where.
How IS that metal grip? Is this not THE most essential question, after you realize how much you've spent for a Parker? One with a bit of a fat head I believe. How do you refill it? Unscrew the point? That nose cone where the tip emanates?
I think it has to do with how high one wears the backpack. I just bought the CTB20 and it’s very uncomfortable compared to my Aer Travel Pack (small). The shoulder straps are almost painful in comparison, to be honest. I love so much about the Evergoods pack though, the zippers and materials are incredible, the design is much more subdued and practical in a wider range of situations.
@@AmnesiaTanner i love their bags, just hate how fat they are. Dont own a single bag of theirs after owning them all, they too chunky, im not traveling while edc🤣✌️
@@AmnesiaTanner do you see yourself returning the CTB20? I also noticed it is fairly uncomfortable but I’m not sure if it’s because it’s new and stiff or not. I just can’t find a comparable bag with the same features in this size.
@@AmericasianKid1 I am not returning it unless the 50d lining begins to tear or fray on the shoulder straps or back panels within the first year. I will say the straps have become a lot more comfortable in just the first couple days of wearing it. Adjusting the sternum strap so that it’s in the lowest position really helped for me. So far no issues with the bag, I am getting used to it being slightly bulkier than my Aer bag. Since it’s streamlined in so many other ways, I think I can accept the bulk.
For me I have the idea it is how your back curves. Some people have their butt sticking out more, ie curving their back more. Then it seems to dig more easily. If I consciously adjust my hips it is fine. But on the other hand I can carry my Goruck and Aer bags without any discomfort so although I love evergoods their design it seems that part is not for me. They are just not comfortable. Shoulder straps also dig a lot quicker than Aer or Goruck. So I don't see myself ever using a CTB35 while I don't mind filling up my Aer travel pack or Goruck GR2 over 10 kg.
In case it's useful for anyone...I just ordered a Houbei 2.0. I emailed them about British notes and for an extra $25 they do have a version that's a few mm wider designed especially for British and Euro notes. That's what I've ordered. I'll see what it's like when it arrives.
For info, I contacted the company (before seeing this video - I'd only seen American reviews - to ask about British notes. They can make them slightly wider to make £20 notes easier to fit but for an extra $25 on the cost.
You’d need to check the airline’s allowances but a lot of people have used it successfully for carry on where it’s technically larger than the carry on size limits.
How do they compare size wise? The Open Sea website lists the dimensions of the LT as smaller but they looked the same in the video when you held them side by side.
Awesome thank you. I have a LT getting delivered today but the original Topsider looks fantastic also and I’m kind of digging the simplicity of the design. I was worried it would feel significantly bigger in pocket.
2:26, you can wrap paracord on the handle it will help with comfort. A cobra weave should work for you . Tell me how it goes if you did it. Nice review!
UK GBP notes always been slightly difficult to insert (expect £5 note) and it sticks out a bit, it is a perfect fit for US notes because these are made for those smaller notes specifically I wish they made slighter wider for those bigger GBP notes like £20 and £50. I really don't understand why it struggles with £10 notes.
This is a great little collection! Just a bit of advice on the very first wallet, the Belroy card sleeve, you’re supposed to put your bills in the front slit not in the big pocket. That might help with the polymer notes making it look thinner.
