Hloo guys..... I have a doubt.... My common jay caterpillar..... Became a pupa yesterday.... N.... Today the pupa is not moving...... Is it normal.... It it alive..... Im worried about it.... 😔😭😭😭🥺Someone plzz help me
So my butyerfly is out of its pupa but not entirely.. the wings is still inside the pupa but the head and body is out.. it's been a couple hours he still cant go out.. he is alive becase he is moving alot
@@mitophonegraphy update.. i helped him out.. but his wing did not spread.. he is so weak.. he cant even grab into a stem because of his wings.. i left him overnight because i thought he could spread his wings the next day but.. when i woke up the next day he's just twitching and cant grab on a stem anymore.. so i decided to burry it so it cant suffer anymore
@@jocelynfalcutan3531 That's really sad.. Most butterflies that cannot spread their wings once they emerge from their chrysalises, they will not survive.
No, not all Mormon caterpillars. For example like the Great Mormon caterpillar, it usually takes about 12-14 days. While the Common Mormon caterpillar, it usually takes about 11-12 days. But the length of the pupal period also depends on environmental factors as well, such as climate.
