Still so weird to think Johnny signed up between 12 and 14. I know there's a massive precidence for young lads lying about their age during the world wars and earlier, but considering how advanced tech was in Cyberpunk's 1990's it just seems so odd
I knew that there was a chance Johnny's memories were off, but I had no idea Spider used the relic on Johnny? Sounds like I'm going to need go and read up on this Black Dog story!
*Ig I’m the only 1 who’s annoyed @ characters like David, Maine n Jackie havin to die while characters like v, blackhand n falco get the opposite.. cause..* *”Of course” -Thor*
Tbf it’s not that johnny lied to V, he’s a copy of the original engram or is grafted from Johnny’s long dead irradiated corpse (black dog doesn’t really make it clear which one it is that’s in the relic 2.0), and is corrupted, and the engrams only have an 80% accuracy to the original personality, his memories are a mess, and it’s heavily hinted that even beyond that Arasaka modified the engram’s memory in service to interrogating him
@@HaugheyProductions honestly I am really curious what will happen after black dog, since it’s heavily hinted that angel is alt’s clone, and she has Johnny’s body. It makes me wonder if his body is even at the dump where it allegedly is in 2077, or if smasher’s lacky was lying to you, especially since you never see it. Really looking forward to Orion overall That and black dog makes it very clear that all V needs to survive is a clone from biotechnica, since the first aware clone had an engram running it
I can't think of a particularly unique but supportive statement that hasn't been said, and just saying "that was really interesting," or "I liked that" is so cliche. So instead I shall post this strange self aware comment of me talking to and about myself in a weird meta way. Or you could call it my Algorithm supporting comment. Perhaps in my quest to express that I cannot make a unique comment, I have in fact made the most unique comment? Sorry, I'm rambling.
Very cool! Congrats on finishing the project. Kinda reminds me of my day-to-day these days, TBH. Hmm... Naw, better not punch out that window, wife will be pissed.
Oh, I really love the Mummy, but I did always enjoy Indiana Jones more; however, that might be because Indiana Jones had more punching/defeating of Nazis. Always love a good old fashioned Nazi punch tbh
I have to go with Indiana Jones on this one. Something magical about a Spielberg movie, especially the ones from the 80's-90's. Something with the music and film quality that has me thinking, "Oh dang, this is premium" from the very first pan-shot. I think the Mummy is fine for a mindless action flick you don't need to focus on (and probably shouldn't) for the best experience. I think the Indiana Jones movies hold up well as an immersive focused experience. My two cents, anyway. And, fun review, I enjoyed it :)
I would have to agree with the magic of that time period of Spielberg and if I am honest raiders is a better film. But the mummy just makes me smile and I am kinda in love with brendan fraser and Rachel Weisz.
I think this film just got action adventure right. You need a sense of humour and a suspension of disbelief to help the audience just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's cinema at it's best. The only other films that really got that balance right were the Sam Raimi Spider-mans (minus 3 of course).
The first film was the best. The sequels got worse as they went on. The CGI was good for its time. You were a bit quiet. Maybe adjust the sound settings next time. It's a fine balancing act...;)
Have you seen Parasite? I've heard lots of good things about it. Maybe do a review of it? I've not seen it yet but it's on sometime this week so I'll be recording it There's also Tenet, which seems to be a bit of a weird one. I'd like to hear what you thought of that one too...;)
