For me, Ren is for whoever finds him. I could absolutely see The Hunger or Sick Boi playing out of a subwoofer. But I can’t quite see Hi Ren or The Trilogy there. And I can’t really see this stuff catching on in the mainstream unless he gets a TikTok hit or releases a breakthrough hit. And I do genuinely consider that a real possibility; he’s got the beats and the bars to play in the big leagues imo. He seems more comfortable and interested in being an independent artist at the moment, though.

It is kendrick way of balancing hip hop and creating a positive image for the next generation of rappers. We have lost so many of our youth to gang violence and drugs. Love your review.
