Wolverines health auto restores in the first game, it just takes forever. The phalanx was an op infantry maneuver that alex the great used to goos effect when he was conquering stuff.
Qix reminds me of a better version of Snake. I freaking love that game and still play it as well. But Qix is something else. I love how many different versions we got just from this game. I can see someone make a movie about this game or at least the concept. Just like what they did with Tron. Pong and Snake was big insperation for Tron. Which is awesome and the movie The Last Star Fighter is like a classic Atari Space Shooter. Which we had alot back then in the Atari era.
Love the overall execution of this game, but the longevity leaves a lot to be desired still. Hopefully this is something that they decide to update and add to later on. There are a ton of games with great moments of possible challenges they could release in packs.
I resonate so much with that Ice Climber comment! 😂. I'm not much of a pin collector but I wish all of the pins in-game existed in real life! They look so cool
Thank you so much for joining us on the episode, it was a blast! There was so much to talk about we will have to do it again sometime, looking forward to the rest of your content! Just to name a few, we are looking forward to Stalker 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, Metaphor ReFantazio, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Dragon Age (but hesitantly).
Great video! some of the games you mention are new to me :D. I am developing a quix-volfied like game right now ^^ hope to reach and please the fans of the genre.
The unboxing Fallout: New Vegas wasn't what I was expecting going into this video, but I'll take it. Amazing video Swoosh, I'm excited to see the upcoming content. You're truly a one in a generation small time RU-vidr.
PLEASE READ: Working this event plus filming on my phone proved to be more difficult than I anticipated. It was also the first time I’ve tried to capture footage and audio in a loud and busy outdoor environment. I appreciate your understanding for minor scuffs throughout the video. I hope it gives a good idea of what the events in my area can look like. There are so many awesome people in this local community that I didn't get the chance to show and this is just a small fraction of NC's retro gaming scene. Thanks for watching!
I used to love this game. The sound track was pretty darn good too! I'm so mad at myself for selling my Sega Genesis collection back when the PS2 came out.. I had a lot of the greatest classics from the time. One of these days I really need to buy an old Genesis and try to collect some of my old favs again.
That's super interesting that this game was done by the company that did the gameboy and wily wars games! And you know, that answers a lot because it was a bit different for sure. They did more damage, longer levels, and the music isn't even as good or as long. I didn't even realize you could use Zero after the initial stage... what the hell! People never talk about that. That's insane. It's really interesting how much easier the weapons make the mavericks, because these guys have some of the hardest when you're just using the buster. They do more damage and all that... cool to see you tackle this one
I feel like it's one of those where if you don't have the game manual you would have never known! Same with how the ride armor works. Who would even try to press R on the menu anyway lol
3:37 You actually can backspace when putting in your high score. :3c It's just hidden next to the lowercase letters a bit further down the list and not, you know, where it would make sense next to the wraparound point. Good job getting to level 5. :3c Game's hard.
This is one of the greatest videos I have ever seen. It reminds me so much of my heroes from 2018 who I hoped to become, from the collection to the style of presentation. Keep at it, dude.
