@@peaks4pounds I totally get it. I am the same way. I have always had a great sense of humor…if you knew my mom, you would understand….she and I would crack each other up all the time. I am proud I got her sense of humor….it gets me up the hill!
“When crazy comes swinging …” LOL! Love it! ( And - Just watch out for Jason from Friday the 13th. Don’t go paddling your canoe on a serene lake with the autumn colors all around!)
Where you at Laura? I will be finishing the Pinhoti in about a week and then into the Benton. I want to see you on that AT girl. I say girl cause we are the same age. 😂😂😂. Let’s Go
Good for you! I'm all over the place. Barely made it out of NC before Helene hit. Hiked Max Patch (beautiful). Will be heading back to North GA soon! Be safe out there! 🥾♥️
@@peaks4pounds Glad you made it out safe. I will be in North Georgia in about 10 days around the Green Dragon. I have been watching you since the start of your AT adventures. Keep pushing on and don’t stop. Your father is very proud and walks with you side by side😀❤️
Great job on this review of the hostel!! You could be the Rick Steves of the hostels of the AT 🤣. You have a great voice for such a thing. I would love to see these reviews for all the hostels 🤗 Glad to see you are back with videos ❤
Ooh, that porch and view is pretty! Are all the hostels so junky in the food/snacks they offer? That stuff would drain my energy rather than providing any.
Unfortunately junk food seems to be what most backpackers carry. I try to eat as healthy as possible when I'm on trail, but it can be challenging at times. I typically opt for nuts, dried fruit and dehydrated meals that are high in protein.
Hi Laura, I see that they are temporarily closed right now. Were they victims of Helene? I hope you and your loved ones are safe after Helene and Milton. 🙏
