@@SuBirdsNatureTours Thanks so much for the information. Have sent a WhatsApp message to Mr Huang but haven't received a message yet. I really want to go there this August .. Do you know the name of the actual hides? Thanks so much in advance
Hello Su Li, thanks for the footage, the laughingthrushes are beautiful, and the blue on the large Niltava and white tailed robin looks brighter than those in China and Thiland, Borneo,
Hello Glenn, thank you for your keen eye and professional insight! Yes, the subspecies in Vietnam differ from those in China and Thailand, which results in the variation in plumage color.
I have enjoyed seeing the birds of Vietnam that I didn't see while I was there. I especially enjoyed becoming reacquainted with the Himalayan squirrel in one of the earlier episodes.
subbed ) i love your bird photography and video and i also love your caption on how rare the bird is , sad too see some endangered i guess they were a rare bird too start with which does not help their cause , but on a positive note good too see so many least concerned list
I was always wondering what I was missing in the way of birds and animals of the forest during my tour to I Corps in 1968. It is so good to see this video.
Thank you for your comment. You are correct that the Black-headed oriole is found in Africa, but the bird in the video is actually the Black-hooded oriole. Their names are quite similar and it's easy to mistake them.
We also have the Emerald Dove in our area in the New Territories of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR ! But it’s very rare chance of seeing one as they blend in very well with the greenery surroundings.
These birds are either drinking water or feeding. Even though we cannot hear their songs, they are incredibly beautiful. Thank you for reflecting this beauty. Please protect them along with their natural habitat. Greetings from Türkiye.
Thinking about it, it was indeed quite hot. Temperatures were soaring, making it suitable only for birding in the early mornings and evenings. Thanks again for your kind words!
Your vide was really inspiring. If you have only 10 days to spend in Ecuador, how would you plan your time to see the best birds (rainforest and cloud forest species)? Mindo and Amazon areas? Thank you!
If you only have 10 days, I recommend focusing your birding efforts in the Andes Mountains. Head west to Rio Silanche Bird Sanctuary and then east to Sumaco. This way, you'll get to experience a variety of bird species in different habitats within the Andean region.
