Hi, Does your ski pass allow you to ride ski busses for free, (like in Austria and France)? I'm trying to find info, but even the travel agent doesn't know. Would i still need a "half fair card, if I'm only using ski lifts and ski busses?
Yes your ski pass covers the buses in grindelwald, if you get full pass it cover trains to Interlaken ost. The last time I was there the hotel gave us a visitors card (free) and this with the ski pass gave access to the buses, so ask about it when your there, or check out the grindelwald bus online they have a route map and lots of info.
Gorgeous bus. The Bedford OB has always been my favourite style of bus. Would have loved to hear something about the trials and tribulations of the restoration process.
As one of the previous comment said. Very pretty seeing this lovely old Bedford coach on its short run, but it was NOT a restoration, plus the music was an irritation. Better to hear the engine and gear changes AND to see how they got it to this lively state
My nan used to take me on day trips using those Bedford coaches. I had seats near the front so I could watch the driver double de clutch with the crash gear box. The music was a nuisance though.
Absolut fantastisch! Einfach super wie die Wolken um den weißen Berg fliegen und die Richtung ändern. Tolle Arbeit. Ich mache auch Zeitraffer Videos. Weiter so. Grüße aus Stuttgart
When I was at secondary school in the 50s I think that it was one of these that I travelled to school in. Until I figured out that if I left for school earlier I could run to school and pocket the bus fare my mother gave me. Beautiful bus though.
I drove one 1947 with a convertible LANGWORTH cattle waggon body ,lovely brakes some moaned about brakes but that was because they were OVERLOADED, If they could get it ON they would take it ??
