Hey friends, I’m CheyAnne!! I am a cosmologist and salon owner in Alabama! I also am a mom and a wife and I have a farm, barrel race, and garden. I love all things hair, teaching y’all hair things, animals, farming….. I mean I’m literally all over the place!! Life is so fun and wild over here and I know you will enjoy tagging along! 😉
How did you get that? From doing that? I’m so confused. You basically got my dream hair style but I didn’t see you add any highlights. Because I’m so confused, I need some advice immediately. So for the shadow root, does that mean you can get the perfect shade of roots that you actually really want. My actual roots are not what I like. I love this shade of roots.
GREAT explaination. I lovw that with your video. you don't just talk, you show the whole process with the explaining in a way so a new or unconfident hairdresser can start to understand which products to use when and why use that particular colour. Well done
For the first time someone explaining toning PROPERLY, without just the talking and the heads . Actual visual looking, talking and explaining real life scenarios. Also using actual products with the why? I would come to you for education girl! Please do more videos like this.
Really great video!!! Thank you for sharing! I would like to know if you have a client that has platnium hair and they wanted to go to a warm golden blonde. Thank you in advance!!!!!
I am curious how the blending works. Do you need to be carefull not to mux the two toners (root darker toner + rest brighter toner) so it doesn't get splotchy and muddy? Good info. I want to tone my yellow hair with 9P + 9V.
She wasn't being ugly. She was given corrupt constructive criticism. For what people pay to have their hair done, I wouldn't wanna hold the bowl. I agree it isn't professional unless you're doing hair out of a back room in a trailer park.
@@cassiejo0012Unless it was a family member or a friend, and the room was empty, yeah, I’d ask them to hold some foils for me, but never the bowl. We have carts for that 👀 but idk I’ve only been doing hair 22 years LOL
did you do more highlights first or just did the shadow root on the existing highlights (in the before picture)? you mentioned teasy lights in the beginning but didn't show it in the video?
Great video! My question would be for client 2 how did you know to use 9aa cvs something like 9g to give a little warmth. I never would have thought to use auburn
Can you also go a little bit further into detail about why you added 9N to the 9V versus adding another color? What would it have looked like if you just use the 9V?
Thank you so much! I’m at cosmetology school right now, and our teacher really rushed through the toning and I really felt I needed the extra education
It may be a long shot to get this question answered but here goes: why do some people use like 5 or even 6 different shades in their formula (other than clear)? I get wanting the "exact color" but it seems like 1. You never really know how it could turn out on a particular person's hair, and 2. Does it really matter?
That’s why toning services (for me anyways) are so specific for each person. Sometimes I need 3-5 different shades and sometimes 1-2. It just depends on the goal, the hair, the person, what it lifts to, etc! I love being able to customize that for my clients. 💖
Thank you I just had hair highlighted and they lifted color way to light then and way too many foils for a partial highlight, toned to ashy color. Not the natural honey blonde I wanted. Trying to get as much info as I can before trying to fix it.
Your videos are so educational. I wish I can do color with ease like you. Can you recommend color classes that helped you? I've been a hairstylist for 15 years but could never grasp the concept of color. Thank you in advance! Please keep making these videos.
I took a redken class once and it helped a lot but I think a lot of it was just trial and error, RU-vid and just eager to learn! @jzstyles helped a lot too!
I just discovered your channel and u have really brightened my outlook. I have learned so much from you! My hair would be a super color if I were young but I’m very fair skinned and, on me, it makes me look my age. You are SO good and sweet; I would love to come there one day and let you do ur thing. U R awesome❤🌺🌸🌺🌸🌞🐾🌺🌸
