The approach in covering these songs is to acknowledge the essence & feel of the groove and signature parts but playing like I'm the original drummer on the track.

You did a wonderful job to a classic song! Good going. You nailed it! But I have to ask, What kind of cymbal are you using to make the signature crashes? If I were sitting at the kit , what is the cymbal to the right of the High-hat. That cymbal was a game changer. Thanks.
I've been trying to figure out how to play that little stutter during the solo that happens right about 3:22 ever since this song came out. I'm 64. It's such a weird little thing
That sounds and looks pretty challenging. It must be hard to keep the perfect time (and timing) with some of the fills, particularly the unison ones, and the quick rolls on the toms.
