@LesVentilateursduQuebec
@LesVentilateursduQuebec 24 дня назад
I thought about this but it seems this is how these perform normally. The motor these uses is not as powerful as the motors Canarm used with these blades at the same period. What doesn't help is that on camera it appears a little bit slower than it does in person.

Great video. Im just confused as to why you wouldn’t want both fans as that’s what the box originally contained? Even if you have no use for both it would still be nice to have it be fully original. It’s very unique as twin pack ceiling fans are very rare as it is even nowadays.
@LesVentilateursduQuebec
@LesVentilateursduQuebec 25 дней назад
The fans were sold separately which is perfectly fine with me. Initially the seller did not wanted me to have the original box either. I rarely get two fans exactly alike and I usually don't do twin installs. I didn't needed the other one plus getting both would have been pretty expensive. It seems this Nadair model was always sold as a twin pack.

@LesVentilateursduQuebec
@LesVentilateursduQuebec 2 месяца назад
As mentionned on the fan forum last month these turquoise Jinling ceiling fans have flooded e-commerce discount platforms in the past few years. This one is pretty powerful indeed especially considering it's 140 cm and has five heavy blades. The other Jinling ceiling fan I have is crazy powerful but is also smaller in diameter, has three blades rather than five and it's blades are lighter.
@katthefanenthusiast5793
@katthefanenthusiast5793 2 месяца назад
@@LesVentilateursduQuebec I was referring to 5-metal-blade fans, not Jinling fans. Some are powerful, others pretty average for metal bladers. But in terms of Jinling fans, their cheap model, the FC-30y, is average. It’s a very typical generic-looking Chinese fan with three skinny straight blades. Doesn’t hold a candle to Jinling’s better models like this one and the FC-30’s (the 140cm 3-curved-blade ones)

Nostalgic when watching the video, in my adolescence I repaired many of these fans at KDK and National Panasonic. I remember the size of their coil, they had quality, the favorite was the one with bushings; Big in front and smaller in back. The shaft of different diameters. Now it is compared to a current fan and you realize the quality of construction that these Japanese fans had.

These are quite common in the Chinese market, right behind Diamond, another fan co. And it's nice that the motor has those circles, so you can immediately recognize this fan

I was at a restaurant that had these in 56” and a few of Jinling’s cheapo model with narrow straight blades that are more like Diamond, which moved significantly less air and spread the air less

@@katthefanenthusiast5793 From the looks they do seem more robust than most Diamond ceiling fans and the visibly cheaper Jinling models. They have wider blades, probably with more pitch and probably have stronger motors. As you can see this one is super powerful!

Very cool, nice to see a ceiling fan from my home country on this channel! These ceiling fans are one of the cheapest fans available in Australia (approx AU$50.). The quality is not fantastic but these are marketed as cheap, bare bones, bottom of the barrel fans after all. This one does not seem too bad for what it is to be honest. Have you thought about trying to get a Mistral ceiling fan, especially the 3 rattan blade ones? To my knowledge they were the only ceiling fans manufactured in Australia.
@LesVentilateursduQuebec
@LesVentilateursduQuebec 3 месяца назад
I was indeed very suprised by the low price. Yes the quality is pretty basic, the motor has an audible hum and it's slightly underpowred for a 120 cm blade span, it would be more appopriated for a 107 cm blade span. At least it's all made of metal and I like the style it has. I love four metal bladed ceiling fans even cheap ones. Yes I have thought about trying to acquire an Australian made Mistral ceiling fan. The model I like the most is 120 cm with four wood and cane blades. I believe the model is 1440. The problem is to find one.
