what a very cool fan! even though not as good as the original Panasonic & KDK, copies of them like this are waay more variative & interesting!

I like how this one has actual blade arms rather than the blades being made of a single piece of metal.

Ohh, this is the KDK knockoff ceiling fan you were referring to! From watching the video, I think this fan is made cheaper than the CKE I featured on my channel, I don’t think the performance is as good either. But seeing the word 'Jamaica' on the motor tag, I can see why. This is definitely a very interesting fan though
@LesVentilateursduQuebec
@LesVentilateursduQuebec 8 месяцев назад
Yes that's the one. You like it? It's seems to be very similar except that this one have a line on the blades. It's actually more powerful than the CKE. The bearings are not the greatest but it runs very cool. What does the word Jamaica on the motor means for you regarding the quality?
@TheFanUniverse
@TheFanUniverse 8 месяцев назад
Really? From the audio, I thought the airflow is rather poor. I can see a tiny bend on one of the blades when you run it on high, which I think is why the fan makes a weird whizzing sound. I don’t think Jamaica has the economic power to make their people have a mindset that these knockoffs aren’t worth to buy. Developing countries like the one I live in still has a thriving bare bones ultra cheap ceiling fan market specifically to serve people that don’t want to spend money on their fans, even though what they’re getting is most likely going to fail in 4 years

@@TheFanUniverse I'm not necessarily talking about airflow but speed. This one does above 300 RPMS which is a lot for a fan of this size. It has a comparable high speed to a lot of Indian ceiling fans! Airflow can only really be judged when we are actually under the fan. The blades are perfectly balanced but the motor shell is a little crooked which gives the illusion that it's out of balance. The whizzing sound is from the bearings which can be heard the most on the second highest speed. This fan was made in China like most of ceiling fans nowadays not Jamaica but that's not really an indicator of good or bad quality as ceiling fans of various levels of quality are made there now.

Ohh okay, the RPM is indeed impressive! I know these knockoffs are mostly made in China, I can see the text 'Made In China' under the Jamaica part. My 2020 Krisbow 56" ceiling fan also has a slightly warped plastic motor cover like your fan which makes it look like it's wobbling, but I can actually see the blades on your fan out of alignment at 10:08

@@TheFanUniverse That's strange that it looks like this on camera, it doesn't in person, it's perfectly balanced.

I wonder what “CP56” stands for since multiple companies use that number. Unless they were just straight up ripping off Canarm
@LesVentilateursduQuebec
@LesVentilateursduQuebec 8 месяцев назад
I'm not sure about the letters but the number is obviously for the blade span using the old imperial system. 56'' = 140 cm. What other companies uses CP56?

Lol basically the same motorcover wobble ive seen with the "KOK Cool A56XK", a very funny fake of the KDK A56XK!

I thought they only had these in my country,Jamica because they are manufactured by a company here and they actually have another model witch looks like A KDK B56XK.would be really cool if you could review that one!

These ceiling fans are made in China. They are very common and seen in many places. I know the other model you're talking about but they discontinued it.

Fans like that exist more commonly in the middle east (saudi arabia, oman, iraq), africa (somalia, nigeria, congo-kinshasa), and southeastern asia (brunei, malaysia, indonesia) and probably other places

Yes indeed. They are also seen in certain parts of Americas like the Antilles, Columbia, Guyana, Suriname, Paraguay and Chile.

KDK and Panasonic’s industrial ceiling fans are just copying each other’s competitiors This is fun fact
