Thank you so much for this tutorial I appreciate as a beginner you made this so very easy for me All the men in my family will get one of these LOL... Merry Christmas guys😂😂😂😂😂
@ByJenniDesigns I can't get the tension right, for one. When I try to make one it turns out way big (loose) or way small. And two, I always end up with an extra stitch or 2. I even mark my stitches to help keep track and still somehow...... I know it's "operator error', it's just aggravating lol
Aw, I'm so sorry. I'm not really sure how I can help. You could maybe try a different hook size. If you normally crochet loose, go down in the hook size and vice versa.
New to crocheting here. Have to admit, the magic circle took me about 30 minutes to get but once i got it down it seemed pretty straightforward. Planning on making some for the increasing number of homeless in my area. I tried another pattern, and it was harder even tho it seemed simple. I love your pattern. This will be my go-to every time from here on out.
Hey jennie, i just want to ask if instead chain 2 at every end of the row, can i do double crochet at that space? Because whenever i do chain 2, the edge of my piece will always be crooked.
Hi, I see you left this comment 3 weeks ago. Sorry I haven't had time to get to you sooner, I'd love to know if you gave it a try and how it turned out?
@@ByJenniDesigns Ok ill make sure to chain the first stitch instead. That also brings me to another question then, are we not counting the chain 1 as a stitch and just counting the half doubles then? because ig doing the math that could also be it too...
I want to make the slouchy beanie with a folded egde. Is that possible????????? I make folded edge beanies but never made a slouchy beanie with a folded edge before
Hello, thank you for this tutorial. I would like to get the written pattern because it will be much easier for me to follow if I have it printed, but when I click the above link, it brings me to a page that says "WARNING, this is a malicious site!" Might just be the browser I am using but would you please be able to post the written pattern in the description box of this video if you have time? Thank you if you can!!
People please watch this video and like because this lady has been working hard it's very simple but it looks like it's way long but it's actually not really but it's way easy and it's very cute
Thanks for the written pattern. Then I can use that instead of wifi at home, and also while travelling. Husbands driving and using GPS so i dont need to mapread! More crocheting.
Hi Jenni, as I previously said, I love this tutorial, however, I'm having an issue with the ebd ifveach row. I'm doing 2 dc on the last stitch, then ss to join. The problem is my seam usbt straight, it spirals around the hat. What am I doing wrong please? This is my third attempt. 😵💫
@@ByJenniDesigns Thanks for the prompt reply. :) Having looked back over it, that may be what I've done. Is there anyway I can send you a pic please, to show you what I mean?
I worked it out. After the ss and chain, I was going into the next stitch, not the same stitch! 🙄 I now have a hat which an even seam. 😍 Thanks again. I love this pattern & already plan on making more!!
The way you explained the pattern was so simple to work up this hat! Love your magic circle technique as well! Question…I made the folded beanie and when I tried it on it was way too big so I took out some rows..when I got it to where it fit my head I noticed the row with the 9 stitch 6 stitch was noticeable in the front of the hat in my fold. Is there a remedy for that? Thanks
I have a tip to fit your head size. Example : your head size 20 inches divided by 4 you got 5 inches then plus 1 total 6 inches. Do your increase row until you got 6 inches width. Then stop increase and continue row 12 until desire length. In malaysia we call this kopiah also 😊
Thank you for the methodical tutorial! Just made this for my step son for his birthday and attached a key chain. I'm not new to crochet but I am new to amigurumi and I thought this was very easy to follow and mine turned out great, even though I missed a few little steps here and there, it was easy to clean up the mistakes in the end. Would love more amigurumi from you! Thank you for sharing!
