Question tho i need to see bios but the laptop only detects external monitor when windows is about to turn on, and it works normaly but i cant see bios or the logo of the laptop when it starts up, how do i fix that?

Can you close the laptop while using the monitor?

I did this on my busted laptop but I did the F7 thing first. Then I was able to see the login screen and didn't have to do all that other nonsense. My dirty videos have been recovered.
