He brought it up because he knew that there were only two people in the world that knew what really happened that day, and one of them was in a coffin.
Their success isn’t based off of you. Metallica didn’t start blowing up until master came out. Up until then they were doing small gigs and opening for shows
well, i disagree with some stuff but i also agree with some. but the last sentence where he claimed to give metallica the success, sorry but that pissed me off, you didnt even write like 10% of the songs, my guy, the fact that you didnt like them, does not mean that you can literally throw shit at them when youre at an interview alone without them, i agree with 15% of what he said.
Dave is super arrogant but the further Metallica has gotten away from his writing and cliffs, the worse they have gotten. Megadeth still puts out solid stuff
Watched this few times and still can’t get what was the reason why he left - is it James kicking his dog, is it James & Lars burping in each other’s mouths or is it guys throwing stuff out of the window while driving. Also I don’t think becoming violent while drinking is good. I would expect a more responsible attitude from a three black belt holder. Those guys are in another league, you know.
You know, actually you learn martial arts for self-defense. Then beating up people when you're drunk who have way lower skills then you is just lame. Get over it, Mustaine, finally. This is meant to deal within yourself forever if it stays like this, man.
He describes the two types of drunks, but what he's really describing is how alcohol reveals a person's character. We all become an annoyingly exaggerated version of ourselves. If you're a dullard while drunk, you're a dullard in real life. If you're passionate and angry while sober, well, the monster just wakes up.
Dave; The Drug Dealer who got his dog kicked by James Hetfield and then got cut from Metallica. He made actual metal in his later years while Metallica now is posing Metal.
