Many thanks for this it worked for me. Samsung is such an arrogant company. There is a law here that forces them to repair when failure occurs and it is not within a reasonble timeframe. However, support says no 1 year warranty totally ignoring laws. I also bought a dishwasher and after 2 weeks I had to unplug and return it to the store as it was not cleaning the dishes properly. Will never buy Samsung Home Appliances anymore.
We have a Samsung DVE45T3200W/A3 model from 6/2021 and same, it wouldn’t stop running AND 3C error code came up. Your video got me to the similar circuit board, located in the display cover, and tapping on the relays worked!!!!! Thank you Subscribed
April through your research you did verry well, but tapping on any relay you just unstack it until next over heat and it will get stuck again .the board will need to be replace.
I am over the moon with this easy fix! My husband isn’t handy, so I try my best to research problems online for a fix! Came across this video about dryer that has no heat and won’t stop spinning even after pushing power button. Your video was very easy to follow and took me 5-10 minutes tops with only a Phillips head screw driver! You don’t need to be a handy person by any means to fix this issue and save yourself hundreds of $ in repair bills! Thank you so much for posting!
I had to do it more than once because, of course, the one plug in there that wouldn't loosen enough to come unplugged was the one that needed to be unplugged. Tapping alone didn't do the trick for me. And of course I wasn't smart enough to not fully put it all back together before testing it. lol. But after I did unplug it all and plug it back in, it was fixed! At least for now. Thank you very much.
To save everyone a ton of trouble. This has happened 2x to me and this works everytime: open the door, turn the dryer on & off 10 times in a row quickly as you can you can hear the click on and off happening and on the 11th time hold the power button for 30 seconds boom its fixed, you are welcome.
Thank you! I just hit the back of the dryer a few times, and that fixed it. i have a different model with the display raised in the back, so just gave the dryer a few hits in the back. I didn't take anything apart. Thanks!
I have a SAMSUNG DVE55M9600V/A3 dryer. As soon as I plugged it in it started to spin and wouldn't stop. The only way to stop it was to open the door. I changed the temperature sensors and the heater, and also removed all the dirt, but even then it still had the same problem. Then I cleaned each of the components on the control panel with a cleaning product for electronic boards and that's it. So far it hasn't given me any problems and works perfectly.
I have the natural gas model, circuit board much easier to access. I wish I had seen this video earlier, would've saved me hours of frustration and unnecessary disassembly.
You are an Angel! Your video is truly great🙏🏻 I have slightly different problem where it doesn’t stop automatically, just stays on at 1 left minute and continues drying for hours until I press stop or open the door.🤦🏻♀️ But I really appreciate what you did here and maybe I’ll find someone to pull the set out from their tiny alcove so I can try that! Again great video!
Thanks for the useful info here. Since i wasn't home i asked my wife to simply unplug the unit for several minutes and plug it back in. So far that's working, and it doesn't require dismantling anything (yet). Cheers!
See I bought mine used from a place. I just had this problem today (07/22/2024). Different model still Samsung and not very old. I just treated it like an old car and smacked the top real good and it stopped. Try the easy way out first y'all. It's almost like smacking a old fuel pump with a hammer. It might just do it's damn job.
April, thank you so much for taking the time and do the research for this problem. You just save me time and money. Hope you still doing well with your washer and dryer😊
Thanks so much!! Took the advice of one of the comments and just gave it a whack above the circuit board without dissembling and it worked!! Dryer is only 4 years old and probably will need to replace the board at some point, but this gives me a little more time!
Thank you! I didn't even have to open it up. My son gave it a good "whack" on the side which was enough to reset the relay. He called it the "Slamsung" technique. Actual Samsung customer service was pathetic. Dryer is only 2 years old. They offered to repair for almost $400 or give me a $50 discount on purchase of new unit.
