I just installed. A left Wheel module On a roomba 960 series. I'm still getting ever message 10 left. I tried 10 second. reboot , and a 20 second hard reboot. To no avail. Can anybody give any good suggestions? Would appreciate it.
Does anyone here really believe that a base station can really wash the mop pads adequately? This also might make the whole system more prone to faults with too much electronics etc. Dirty tank water is another area where IRobot is superior in my opinion. Imagine leaving a tank with dirty water in your leaving room for a week....And at the end you have to empty it at least 1 per week. So, where is that auto maintenace? With manually mopping you have to clean with your hands the mop regularly. This is the concept of IRobot i think, buy 4,5 extra mops and when mopping a room change them for every room you mop. This is the more hygiene way. Afterwards, put them in the washing machine, only way to have them cleaned properly. I think that all the other companies that are promoting auto wash etc but its just marketing. I 've seen reviews that all those base stations are getting really dirty and every week or so they need maintenance, so where is the automated system? Just marketing...Same for the mops. Most of them are raising some mm from the ground to avoid carpets. Come on, there is no way to cross a carpet with dry mops and carpets remain clean. 10 and 15mm are by no means a safe distance. So eveyrone who has carpets and floors its a waste of money to but those devices. I agree that some improvements can be done to IRobot vacuums but not for marketing. The safest way not to touch the carpets is only by hiding or raising the mops on the robot, nothing else.

Hello @BoBoy711! Regarding your question, I want to inform you that most of our Roomba models support our Smart Map Feature. In case you need more help or information, please contact us at homesupport.irobot.com.
can someone explain to me how I can remove the airfilter to clean it from the J5 combo bin. the attachement for the wet pad is in the way so I can NOT remove it in the same way as I can remove the airfilter from the dustbin
It was okay until the app updates. Today it's in pieces and heading to the land fill tomorrow. Don't waste your money on a roomba when there are so many competitors that outperform roomba.
We purchased this unit and discovered the robot would not self-fill from the solution reservoir. We contacted the company who disclosed that they would add the new software and so reregistration was started and it worked fine the first time. On the second charge and return to vacuuming and cleaning, the tank again would not self-fill. Upon calling again the technician asked what type of solution we were using and so I disclosed we were using Bona, that referred to by their company. She asked me to shake the container to energize the sensors. Once again, the unit failed to wash the floor or refill. The next day all the unit would do was vacuum the floor. After just 1.5 weeks we were tired of baby-sitting this unit and called, disclosed our discontent with the unit and requested either a new unit or refund. The technician on the line stated that we had purchased the unit 2.5 weeks prior (I didn't know that warranty started upon purchase not date of delivery) and so either would be my option. I asked if the new unit would start a new warranty due to it being new and that the other unit was defective. She said it would not, that the warranty would be the one where the older unit began. I have seen this type of hold on to the unit until the warranty is up and you have no recourse with RING door Bell. I opted for return with refund and I am in the process of looking at another company. We had the J7 and the mopping unit from Roomba, so we will return to using them until we find another company.
