This video surprises me a LOT. I am in to artisinal. Areej, Bortnikoff, Eo, Tsvga ect.ect. And at the time this video was made.. In regarding of "skill of the perfumer", blending, smoothness, transitions... Bortnikoff was the best of them all. We can talk matereals, inovation EO has the matereals, Areej had the ideas. They all had their strong and weak sides. And most of the time I agree with Brandons oppinions. But this time I feel like he missed the mark completley. Or the samples were tampered. House of Bortnikoff is not what it used to be, but at the time of this video it WAS top notch imo:)

Good review. It's the only fragrance missing from my collection. I have a tiny Mitouko extra, and some Diagalev. So I'll be patient, and maybe a partial bottle will come up some day .. I have Grandinia, Ottoman Empire and War and Peace. They have that old vintage vibe as well, which is great.
I like personal space fragrances as well... A lot of those insanely huge scent trail fragrances are filled with Aroma Chemicals... Like ISO E Super... I'm going to check these out as well!
My favorite from the house. The orris with the chocolate and mandarin, my goodness. I copped a bottle shortly after sampling this, it is awesome. Great review my friend
Please tell me where can I buy beautiful non fecal Oud and real animalic Musk and oak moss. I love Musk Khabib but you’re right, I’m left wanting more, and u said he has competitors who charge less. Who? Where? Please share ❤
Awe man those are my favorites notes. And if I sold most of the garbage perfumes I bought in my life, I could afford to buy 50 of those . Im disgusted in myself for wasting a fortune on crap Niche .
I wish you would make more videos . Not many reviewers are like you. In fact very very few. I agree with u but I think the reason I like Bortnikoff is because it’s not very oudy. I don’t like fecal Oud. One of the things I hate most about Areej is the nasty Oud he uses. Even Grandenia which I adore, in the deep dry down I get this horrible stinky Oud. And I have to scrub it. Very few Areej I love and they’re all floral heavy. Which is why I love Triad so much. My favorite from Areej are Siberian Musk2, Malik Al Taif, Walimah, Atlantic Ambergris2, Plumeria de Orris, Antiquity, Ottoman Empire 3, Grandenia. But the one I’m chasing to buy a full bottle is Siberian Musk2. I only have 10ml left. Ppl are ridiculous with their prices . I’m not paying 5-10 times the price they paid .
I love some of Bortnikoff and others I don’t. I noticed that the first releases are much better . Then later years he reformulates them for the worst. But the few I have from Bortnikoff, I do love. I scored a first year release of Oud Monarch and Triad and Musk Khabib and I absolutely love them. I did buy Musk cologne and Moss cologne. I didn’t like Moss either . At end of day it only matters that you love them .
Oh man this fragrance 🤦 This is something intoxicating! I have 02 Marocain and it's like you said "special!". I plan to get Coeur after having a sample. It's more potent and have extrait depth. Scent ... It's the same! For those who say it's reformulated >>> no! It's not!!
I blind bought a bottle for $50 from Mecari. I just now-maybe 15 minutes ago sprayed it. And it’s gone through so many notes. I’ve never smelled anything that does a round robin through the notes like this. I have (and love) Amber Kiso I wanted to compare it and man-am I pleasantly surprised & impressed. It’s the kind of thing I instantly wanted to have someone else smell and see if they got the same effect. Thanks for the video-I thought my mind was playing tricks on me.
Don't know what happened to Brandon, but I greatly miss his videos, and every so often I watch one again. I bought Voyage 2019 three years ago after my original view of this one. As usual I was delighted with the scent. This is my third Hiram Green, after Slowdive and Moonbloom. How he gets this level of performance from all naturals, who knows?
