I wore jardin nocturn recently, one of if not the best Jasmine scents I've ever tried. Great to hear it spoken about more , the house as a whole has amazing creations. Your videos are always so refreshing to watch 🍀
I found myself missing your videos this last couple of weeks. You came back with a bang. Great content. You have changed my fragrance world. Thank you.
No question, some perfumers pour their heart and soul into their compositions. High praise for Ensar's leather! Would be awesome to try that vintage Mitsouko. Coat myself in the magic.
HE'S BACK! Hope you had a nice break my friend. Love these types of videos from you brother. This is the type of juice I want to hear and share about. 🔥🔥 I chose Au couer over lddm as well :)
Definitely Bren love some good patterns. Fortunately in my part of the states we only get below freezing a couple times a year. Not bad at all. Best to you.
Thank you for sharing! It helped me to discover quite a lot of carefully hidden perfumery gems :-) the information presentation would be even better with a bit more clearer font and strait to the point description :-)
Anjali the Shalini is an absolute must if you are chasing jasmine. Frassai Tian Dio is as well. But Jardin Nocturne is something special and it is still in its original formulation.
Love your tastes and passion, Brandon-you’re giving me quite a to-try list here. I’m right there with you on MEM-you and the gents from Wafts in a Loft put this on my radar. I was smitten from first sniff-I recall literally gasping when I first wore it on my skin and I couldn’t stop getting lost in its stunning beauty. And I’m happy to say at almost half a bottle in, it gives me this same reaction with every wearing. MASTER.PIECE.
That's most of these for me personally is how you described this. It's as I wear them each time they make more memories and my mind still has trouble describing what I'm smelling while continuing to find new twist and turns in the compositions⚡️
Brandon, I love your list. You are godsent gift to the niche/natural reviewer world. THANK YOU and Happy Thanksgiving!! Absolute love of the list though don't have them all but at least sampled most. Teisenddu is the ONLY gourmand fragrance I like (Luca Turin gave it 5/5). I actually love it so much so that I bought back-ups. Hyde is a masterpiece and I am still figuring out how he made it all natural with such a longevity. My own top 10 include Ensar Oud #2 (controversial pick but the new batch is pure Musk heaven to me), Scotch Peat (so underrated and cheap composed Prin Lomros), Oudh Infini (Dusita- hello real Oudh heaven), Sacred Incense (smoky frankincense oil from Elixir Attar), Al Ghaliyah Amelia (Dixit & Zak- OMG oriental opulence), Madeiras di Oriente Oscuro (PK perfumes- woody bitter almond anyone?), and yes old butch Fumidus (Profumum Roma- Gothic boozy and very earthy vetiver probably Javenese)........
Thank you and Happy Holidays! Thanks for the top ten list, love it when you guys do this. Fantastic list. I am going to seek out that sloth peat. Yes to EO2 for sure. Somehow I have not tried sacred incense. I would only put in one perfume per company and you gave me a couple more to seek out. Cheers friend.
Hey there Olfactofiles. Areej is a must try he is making quite a bit of samples available in each collection just grab some on the next. Worth the experience. Jardin was something that took me by surprise this year.
A heavy hitting list man! So glad to see you back, and had to check this out when you told me about it! So glad you enjoy the Nocturne, so funny you didnt want to like @ 1st! A great addition to the list imho. Cheers!!
I had my pen and journal out for this list. Great stuff... I have decants of both Russian Musk and Russian Oud. The Russian Musk is amazing no doubt. But I was really surprised I didn't see the Russian Oud included here as it's a prized possession in my collection.
Hey Jonathan I have never tried Russian Oud in spray form FYI. I have the attar and like it. But really feel the spray would work a lot better. I mentioned that in the Areej Ranked video as well. I have a guy and we keep meaning to meet up to try the spray and he tries the attar just hasn't happened yet.
I "found" Frassai elsewhere, but your three mentions, Teisenddu, Blondine and Tian Di, are the three I bought after sampling. Tian Di has a fantastic opening, though I soon go nose blind to it, but the other two are glorious. I found Teisenddu's Welsh cake concept just too intriguiging to resist.
How are you Brandon?! I would like you to one day have the opportunity to try Rochas Femme (don't let the name scare you) and Opium, I'm sure you're going to like them a lot. Take care
I am still looking for Vol de Nuit based on you Geoff. Glad you got Miyako that is really fantastic stuff. And yes I won't argue with you at all over that Mitsouko statement. One of the most important compositions created. I have never smelled the original Chypre, but what was done in this bottle leaves me speechless. I really don't know the words I would use to review it. It's just something you smell and I am not able to knit pick or think of anything I would change. It mesmerizes my mind and becomes what all chypre's must be judged against.
@@Espada11777 I myself was underwhelmed by the agar aura fragrances. I do find myself coming back to Agar Parisien though. He did give Neriko a 97/100 score. This is about compositions that are new never done before. Not just juices with with very best ingredients highlighted which is agar auras game.
@@Espada11777 its HIS list based on HIS SUBJECTIVE taste and experience so calm your tits, please! No need to resort to petty personal attacks because his choices don't align with yours. P.s bringing together rare expensive ingredients does not automatically = great perfume/compositions!
@floatingMan put it best. I think Agar Aura has some of the best ingredients (OUD) period. We are talking about making your own accords here. Something you own. AA power is all in his distillation and the natural ingredient does all the work. Totally different. My love for Slumberhouse is all there and I wear them more than most of these, but let's be honest there are holes in the compositions and they do need finessing. All in my opinion.
@MDD To you directly never once have I considered myself an expert, please show me. This channel is completely about my own journey nothing else and what I have found. Don't make it into something I didn't say. Open to constructive debate, my other comment handles your shots at Slumberhouse and Agar Aura.
Thanks Bro. I do feel it. Sometimes just need to get re energized and actually enjoy all of the fragrances. Love the new stuff will catch up soon about it.
