now adays im to lazy to even bust out a hose. i open fuel line around engine and jump the fuel pump relay and let that do its thing. what if it dont have electric fuel pump ??!! stop dealing with ancient crap
Thumb one was good, never knew that one The best siphoning to do is when you are close to 3% fuel in tank. And suck on the hose ALOT you wont get any fuel, but heck, you get a super rush... i only did that once, but it was enough for me
Backin 87' me and my fellow marines were siphoning gas from brought in vehicles meanwhile others were tasked with hosing off the tires of the incoming trucks. We were using this tehcnique and somehwere midway it things just got caught fire and i felt a lot of heat. Turns out my buddy simply put a lighter to the end of the hose in the can and things just went off. None of us caught fire but hose guys saved those trucks. There were 17 lined up, all with 3/4 of gas or so
No offense intended but the ants will simply move to another spot. My yard is covered in fire ant hills and the queen stays a foot deep underground. So any disturbance or poisons, just kills a lot of workers and the queen travels underground, setting up a new nest to have thousands of baby worker ants again.. I've bought and used all the poisons sold at Lowes for fire ants and they kill thousands but do not eliminate fire ants from my yard. The fire ants just keep coming back. Right now I can't walk out in my yare without getting stung at least once and often 2-3 times even though not near a fire ant hill. I've tried every remedy I can find except an exterminator that will also kill beneficial insects.
I get it. This was a fire ant bed, but the larva has to stay within a certain temp. That means they are near the top of the bed and moved around by the worker ants. They will leave once they realize the temp is too hot. I've not had them make a new nest around the old nest. My yard is clean from ant beds, but i do have them in my wooded area that i don't do this too. 👍
I tried this as directed, on days over 34 degrees C, and it did NOT work. They just said "Thanks for the blanket", and went further underground while it was too hot.
Who else is here because they put on their boots this morning only to find the little fuckers have been living in your house plant and decided to swarm your boots? I've never taken off my boots that fast before.
Doesn't work on newer cars they have a screen or rollover device in the way. You can't put the hose in the tank. I have been using the technique he is showing in the video since I was a kid 70 years ago, but these old ways of siphoning gas will not work on modern cars.
Awesome. I have a 70’s vehicle that’s been sittin a while. I want to dump the old fuel and use fresh fuel. Your clip was great timing. 👍🏼 from Australia
I'm going to try this here in Texas.....................I have my doubts................I can see Texas ants pulling out their chairs and enjoying the heat. Thing is.....ants can go deep into the dirt where it's nice and cool. This bag only heats up the top.
I wish I knew this before, I’ve had the old petrol mouthwash several times. I won’t mention the time I siphoned the blocked toilet with a garden hose that you can’t see thru. No comment there.
