why does nobody complete the application? that is NOT the end of the form, why does everyone stop the video right here knowing there’s more shit to be entered. You need an artist website, how tf did you do that? don’t make fucking tutorials if you’re gonna half ass it and just talk for 10 minutes and not show shit. nobody cares about you or your voice. we care about the title of the video and when we don’t get it, it’s dumb asf
@@lizdrums554 Usually most distributors distribute your music to a “RU-vid Topic” default channel because RU-vid is its own entity and not technically a distribution streaming platform for just music. So that is why some distributors will offer just distribution to “RU-vid Music”.
@@JaceyFlames Thank you for answer. Look, I wave made Albom. Put it in Routenote, it is Appreciated. I can see it on RU-vid, on Facebook, on TikTok. But i don't see it on Spotify (I don't see my name like artists), i don't see it in SoundCloud, i can't make RU-vid artists channel. I don't know what to do.
What’s good bro I signed in and everything but my old number is locked in with my artist profile do you know how to change the phone number so I can log back in?
Not too sure man. Thats never happened to me tbh. You might need to contact Apple Music for support for that. Here’s the link: artists.apple.com/support/
Your problem as a celebrity is that people usually dont treat cho ass like a regular person and now you throwing tantrum when you dont get attention. Nigga be happy for the paid show and shut the fuck up.
@@JaceyFlames makes sense haha ive really only ever used wav. what makes flac not as good for distribution, if you dont mind me asking? im a bit confused because flac is lossless and mp3 isnt. thanks man
@@jordanfromtheb Tbh man, it all depends on these streaming platforms that these distributors partner with; I.e. Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, etc. they are the ones that usually only want MP3’s just because their quality of sound isn’t up to par and they don’t offer like Dolby Atmos or any standard like that.
@@JaceyFlames btw big congrats on 30k streams!! i am brand new to releasing music, my goal is to get 10k on my ep by the end of the year. if i dont get there its no sweat, for me its something to work towards. cheers boss
God Apple music feels so so limited compared to Spotify. Can't change my artist name, can't change my artist genre, can't even make a bio that's not from a selection of stupid corporate conversation starters lol
This is good, non-pushy advice, but I'd argue it goes even a layer deeper than that. It's not just that you'll set the expectation for the audience that your music is always gonna be aggressive street style (and whether they believe it will always be a question), they'll also expect you, eventually, specifically if you gain significant visibility or virality, to start *changing your life to match that*. You're gonna start being expected to just hang out with some people that drink syrup and just pretend to drink it. Then that'll make you eventually start drinking it for real. And then you already see the rabbit hole you start to go down. When you play a character on stage or film as an actor, that role you play will eventually run its course. You get to take it off when you walk off set. Or at the very least you get to take it off completely once the project is done. But when your character is your rap persona, especially if you get any degree of fame, you can't *ever* take it off. And when you live as something other than yourself for long enough, you will eventually start to become that thing. Your true nature may never fully alter and adhere to it, but consciously, you'll rewire yourself to be that. So be careful indeed, you brain is powerful - often times in an accidental way.
I agree 💯%! Glad you understood where I was going with that, and yes, you’re definitely right about it going a deeper level than that. At the end of the day, your mind is VERY powerful and whatever you see and want to become, you can and will eventually become that. Great response!! 👏🏼
Can we earn a percentage of the Royalties if we upload Spotify Albums with multiple Artists in our local town? We are a founding right now an want to upload our CD's from 1992 to 2016. Is that as easy as to make a Artist account for your founding?
Yes, but it doesn’t depend much on location. It’s more about which distributor you use (also, your label if you were signed to one)and how much they take out for royalties.
Distrokid deleted my music for no reason and told me that stores no longer accept my music through them What should I do to download my music again on distrokid?
I was having problems with this coz my account ain't showing up, but with the help of comment session i gotta wait until my release in progress is done! Thank u mhn for making educative replies 🎉🎉
You need to release a song first, then you can claim it. Primary artist just means IF you already have a profile. Is this your first song that you are releasing?
Hey I'm using Route note to distribute a song and it says I need an artist account to upload the song but I have not claimed it yet because I need to upload a song to claim my profile
It means that there still might be a sample that has been claimed or published from someone else and Ditto is not accepting it. Did you contact their support yet?
