I've heard that this kind of stuff happens often, if not almost all the time in the industry. So basically, they'll make you do something (not necessary something you would normally do) and use it to their advantage. And later if you don't play by their rules they will blackmail you or sth. You have a very valid point about creating leverage.
Thank you and yes, it’s pretty WILD. I’ve heard a lot too, I’m just glad it’s finally coming out about stuff like this so we are all aware at just how slimy the industry can be 💯
Personally, I think this dude is lying because this is not the first version he has told of this incident. On Art of Dialogue he said someone propositioned him at a photo shoot and when he said no the person started acting different. He never said an executive and he never mentioned a deal being withheld. Question, if this is true why he aint naming that person so that the next up and coming artist doesn't get extorted like he claiming he was?
Good question. Maybe because of the legalities that may come with it? Or maybe because he doesn’t want to be blackballed more than he has been? Not too sure, but even if it was a lesser offense of what they did to gate keep I still wouldn’t be surprised.
@@JaceyFlames The best defense to a liable claim is the truth. It is damn near impossible to win a defamation case especially if this is a public person. He's making some explosive allegations but leaves the perpetrator unnamed so someone else can go through what he claims went through? If you were not going to put a name on it what is the point? Oh I get it he dropping an album soon and needs the bigots and frauds to promote it. Super lame.
