Hello! I know I’m two years late to the party but I wanted to thank you for taking the time to detail the differences between the Crimson Dawn saber cores. For some reason I had a lot of struggle trying to find a decent comparison video. Last night I ordered a baselit Centurion hilt as my very first premium saber, and I plan on taking it to my first Comicon this October! Also in reviewing your Crimson Core you mentioned that you had made a Sith OC and I think that’s super dope! I’ve been doing worldbuilding and character creation for 7 years now and it’s always cool to hear somebody who has the same interest :)
You keep saying "V6" but I dont even see that as an option in Crimsons dawns site? I see crimson core, neocore, golden harvest, proffie pixel, and crimson proffie
Great work. Which saber are you using? I just got my Kyberlight yesterday and it feels pretty nice but I have a Consulaire from Elegant Weapons on order that will really the one that I will use for spinning. Also, just a suggestion, be sure to speak louder or get closer when you have your back to the camera as it was harder to hear you when you did that. Other than that, really great explanation and demo.
I think the manufactures are putting to much tasking on one button,,, should have at least two buttons, one for sound fonts the other for color & blade visual effects.
It's really interesting to me you made your dueling saber so long. Is the end of it stable at that length? And you made it with multiple grip pieces or...?
I know its been a while since you posted this video but I can't find the answer anywhere. How long does the neopixel Crimson Dawn saber lasts until it needs to be recharged?
@@kettosabers1168 Ohh no problem. I already found the video. But still i couldnt do it. I think its bcs i didnt got the best lightsaber to do so. I will come back when i have a new saber
i will buy cal kestis lightsaber from patch store. Im so hyped cant wait to get it. It will be my first Neo Pixel, i only had 2 with LED in the handel these arent as fun as Neopixel.
I own a V6 from Vire. Bought and then gave away the Crimson Core from Crimson Dawn which is almost the same as the V6. The V6 is better. The sounds are smoother, while Crimson sounds rough and static on some fonts, it's a little louder too. V6 has 5 music tracks and Crimson has 3 tracks. I do agree on one thing, Neopixel Proffie Core blows both the V6 and Crimson Core out of the water but over time the speaker from the Proffie Core can mess up and battery drains much faster.
Is there any way to further customize the colors? I've been looking into it but can't find any further info? Do you just have to mess with the bg files?
Sorry for the late response,cl College stole my life away. Lol. In the year that I've had it, it's never broken, and I've done some pretty hard dueling
Would you say the crimson core is worth it for a guy on a budget? Im checking out some crimson dawn lightsabers, the cheapest ones at 89$… Do you feel like its a difference that is worth the money?
Oh 100%. The crimson core (although slightly worse audio quality) is tougher, more reliable, and I've never had issues with it. The V6 has caused me some problems (mainly glitches) but it still works fine. I mean, ultimately it's a question of how much you're willing to invest, they're both almost identical and you'll get the same function out of it. As for price tags, no for a baselit saber the price really isn't all that important. The Shade or Banshee will work just as well as let's say the Dragoon or Renegade. It's really all about style. My personal recommendation is to order a Tier 3 mystery box and put in the order notes that you would like a crimson core. That should get everything sorted right out. (If you're on a sub $100 budget, then I'd suggest the shade with an extension of your choice)
The dark saber is one of my favorites because of the Mandalorian blaster and the smooth swing is awesome I have a V1 two button Proffie from CD but really want the Antares. Your personal opinion two button or the single button? I know that’s your first but just wanted an opinion
Sorry that I'm getting to this super late. I've been preparing to move to college. I now own two Neopixel sabers, one single, and one double. I definitely prefer the single button. In my opinion, the simpler it is the easier it is to use and the harder it is to break.
Do all Antares come with the crimson core or just yours, because I’ve seen other reviews where they don’t get a crimson core with theirs. I’m planing on getting one and since they updated the site where u can now pick your electronics with the saber, idk if the crimson core is included
@@PowerpixelYT shade v2 is awesome. I have 2 in black and when combined it’s absolutely fun to swing around. There’s great heft to it for its size. If you care for the step up, id suggest going for neopixel blades!
