Your faster on that Blake’s than a lot climber on a zig zag it goes to show old school works fine it can also be just as fast it all depends on the climber, I’m not saying I don’t like my zig zag or that I don’t use srt but just don’t over complicate stuff guys have Ben doin tree work before any of us an did it just as good as we do with all of toys .
Can’t spend your pay if your lanyard fails, I know you’ve herd it all before but a tree and money isn’t worth the fall. Not much more time to add a main line friend.

The only real error here is constantly pushing his knee into the tree rather than just standing up on the gaffs. It kind of takes away from the “I’m too badass on the spikes to tie in” thing.
Osha regulations require a 3 point hold at all times. Whether it be two lanyards or not. It can be two spike and one hand. Regardless, this is old school climbing. Typical tie in with a typical 2 over 2 under tautline hitch. None of that new technical stuff. You don’t see many people climb this way anymore. It’s good to see that the old way is still in use by someone other than myself!!
What is the difference between the way he climbs and I'm a new school climber I've been climbing for about 12 years I have climbed this way old school and now with the newer stuff I also use it which makes my job a lot easier on the body so I don't understand your comment or all tree climbers we all do the same thing it's very hard dangerous work gear is gear old school new school everything advances in this world
How about instead of ripping the name ACE tree service off you use one that suits you much better. How about HACK tree service. Cut off chain break, bowline termination, natural crotch rigging on top of your lifeline and no termination on taut line which in itself has been condemned as an unsafe climbing prusik. Keep on natural selection will catch up with you bud.
