Great video! Thanks for the thoughts. I especially loved the part about honoring and enhancing my husband and his masculinity with my femininity, and dresses and skirts. ❤ Kilts are often used as an excuse, but kilts are not skirts! Women don’t wear kilts, women wear dresses, the kilts are for the men. Men can and have worn robes in different cultures, but the women had a distinct different kind of robe and dress. Always distinction between men and women.
Hi dear, I just wanted to highlight something you said regarding modesty depend on where you live. I don’t agree with that opinion of yours. The Bible said Jesus doesn’t change, he did the same yesterday and tomorrow and another verse says “….with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. ( James 1:17) because God doesn’t change so his word. Modesty it is the same wherever is your culture. People who belong to a kingdom look the same regardless of where they live.
I am a Catholic and I think women look better in dresses and skirts because they accentuate their figures. I think women look better with feminine hairstyles too. I agree with you that it is a positive thing if women wear dresses and skirts modestly. The one thing I would disagree with you on though is that men can’t wear dresses and skirts full stop. I am heterosexual but I have always had crossdressing urges and suppressing them completely is not good for my mental health. Whilst I am not interested in wearing dresses or skirts in public and I am happy dressing and acting as a man most of the time I see no harm in dressing up in them in the privacy of my own home from time to time. I love the different styles & fabrics, I adore women and like feeling feminine. I am not in a relationship with a woman at the moment but if I was I would be open about my crossdressing urges because I know I would get caught out at some stage and I wouldn’t want a secret undermining the relationship. If she could not accept me doing a little bit of crossdressing when I am home alone then she would not be right for me.
I'm not a "girly girl" at all but I do feel like the Lord has been tugging at my heart to start dressing more modestly. Just praying God's leading in Him leading in the right direction to start dressing more modestly. But with my own unique style 😊 great video I enjoyed listening to you speak on this issue God bless 😊🙏🏾🩷
Man 46....wear skirts and dresses and completely understand your view...(it is not as supposed to be) But I always think people are free. I ask nothing more the nregular respect. I also wish more women would wear dresses...but thats not the case. I like it becasuse it looks so much more playfull than pants and hoodies. I would like a discussion about this with you.
since I sat through that, you probably have much better hair than you think..stop the sun in ( your frying your hair) I recommend leave in conditioner right after showering ( redken has a good one) an easier way to do this, use clip ins, but clip them in upside down…. Pony tail, and messy bun.. I find the halo to heave for this. And the color your hair or highlight ( but not sunin) I can’t believe they still sell that
Sun In ruined my hair… just wanted some highlights here and there any it basically turned my hair to mush after just using it a couple times. John Freda has a product that is similar to Sun In, it’s not as harsh on your hair but it does the same thing. He also has a lightening shampoo and conditioner too that I’ve used that I prefer over the lightening sprays. They’re so damaging!
Did you know that in Africa men wear traditional tunics and Jesus wore a tunic, and Arabic men wear tunics? I see your point but we all know the real issue is not the clothing.
Just found your video, what an amazing breath of fresh air. I think this is amazing. I was stay home mom for 25 years with six kids. And I've been working since 2017. I was actually looking for some scriptures to pray over my husband. Just recently I discovered the value of blessing my husband and how it Wards off spiritual warfare. Keep up the good work I hope you have more videos to come out the world needs to hear what you have to say. Blessings to you and your husband
I love this video! I've just felt recently lead by God to switch to wearing skirts and dresses also. I feel empowered not only because it sends a signal that my husband wears the pants, but it's also a nonverbal protest of the blurring of the lines between male and female. God made humanity male and female. Period. And I think the differences in the two are beautiful. And I think they should stay distinct and not get blurred together. So yes by going traditional and wearing skirts and dresses only, I'm non verbally sending the message to God and the world that I believe in male and female and no inbetween and I embrace my femininity the way God made me.
I didn't pay attention to proverbs 31 until I got married and started taking my faith more seriously. I didn't realise how much wisdom for wives is in it!! It's literally like a guidebook for wives!
Thanks for making this video, as not enough people talk about those of us who have to juggle work and homemaking. I totally agree that there can be so much anxiety felt as we prepare to go back to work- a much needed discussion!
I used to believe that having a job exempted me from being my husband's helpmeet. Oh how wrong I was! I've now learned I still need to fulfil my duties and so am gradually doing more homemaker things at home (I rarely used to clean). Praise God for His guidance on this journey!
I've been thinking something similar- the ancient Jewish culture for women I'm sure took into account the climate in the middle East. I doubt Hebrew women would have been wearing skirts and dresses if they lived in a colder and more rainy climate- the culture probably would have then been for women to wear female trousers I.e. not male's trousers I.e. trousers designed for the female body or long skirts/dresses with tons of padding like the victorian ones. Hence, I'm not sure sure if it's 'not biblical' for women to wear trousers. Who knows though.
I just came across your channel. I really enjoyed it. I love our Lord and I am praying to conquer my stress and also do some of your great ideas! xoxo God bless you!!
Hello! New subscriber! I’m just kindly wondering for the reasoning you are returning to work. If it’s a personal choice you would like to keep private then no worries but I’m just curious!
Therr is nothing wrong in wearing skirts and dresses everyday if your lifestyle allows this but the reality for many women especially working class women is that we dont have this luxury when it comes to doing physical work which sometimes requires trousers for safety or is part of the uniform. If a woman goes hiking, horseriding, cycling, it would be immodest and dangerous not to wear trousers as its difficult to climb a mountain and do scrambling and hiking when wearing a skirt. A riding school won't even let you ride unless weaeing trousers. It's plain safety. Please consider those women that have to work for a living and do practical jobs to pay the bills as middle class women have more money and luxuries so don't need to do as much physical work.

I am wondering if you are messianic, because you mentioned the mishkan (spelling) Shalom shalom. Shine on sister. I am also wondering if the headband is meant as a headcovering. It’s awesome that you were able to move out of the city, it does feed the soul for sure.
(why is this so long a comment? mirrors the length of the video) Objection! Men wore skirts, I am a man, I WEAR SKIRTS! You calling me feminine? Think before you speak! you say it was more comfortable for you, that is why I started wear skirts, because of the comfort, so are you going to look down on me or say it is not wrong because i wear skirts because of comfort? then there is the scientific, objective reasons for men to wear skirts. you say that biblically, skirts are something only women get away with?? you just pulled that out of your buttocks! i am not usually this crude in my words, but your making a strawman argument! ever heard of scots? romans? or perhaps Hawaiians?? this is bigotry against men's manhood. skirts provide room, and proper airflow and stops bacterial and fungal problems because air is moving more freely and openly with a long loose skirt (while keeping modest) where as jeans, track pants and even shorts have the inseam that keeps the privates closer to the body which from what i learned, is better for reproductive purposes if it kept 2 degrees cooler then the rest of the body. pants and underpants do NOT this grace for a man. this is just brainwash, indoctrination junk. i am a full on man, i wear long skirts, and i am as manly as the next man who's privates are squashed and melted who wears jeans. men and woman can be kept just as separate and district if they both wore skirts. how bout this, men get long skirts, women get dresses, and the pants be for none? because you're not going to convince me that a man cannot "get away" with a skirts. little more about the strawman side of things, funny thing about men wearing skirts, every time i asked for a scientific, objective, none opinionated reason for why a man ought not to wear skirts, not a single one could answer. it was only opinion "it just is not acceptable" "skirts are just feminine" things like that. again though, i fail to see how a man wearing a soft, comfortable, medically healthy piece of clothing like a maxi skirts, is blurring the line, HOW?? because it's the western custom? bump that! another question, how is a skirt feminine?? that is also the equal unsatisfied question (by reason of lack of a proper, unbiased, unpredigests answer) i fail to understand this just as much. rebellion?? live and let live! as long as he is not going to go as a sodomite. besides, the scriptures say that where there no law is, there is no transgression. of course you will surely scurry over to Deuteronomy 22:5 but you actually think that a one tubed garment is only for woman? you actually think that all men back then wore jeans, slacks and trackpants as well as shorts? nonsense! it is just commanded to keep distinction between men and women. and i can be easily identified as a man by the way i walk, talk, and because i have a beard. (side note, believe it or not, this skirt wearing man is a born again King James Bible believing Christian) guess what, i am a man! i have a right to wear something that doesn't destroy my reproductive organ. you don't too often see men pulling off and "getting away" with real comfy clothes (long skirts) because most men do not have the manly to actually try it. excuse me?? you mean to say that your husband cannot literally, physically wear?? is there like a force field or some sort of shock collar that goes off when the device detects soft and loose raiment?? wowzers! who knew. maybe that is why most men do not wear maxi skirts, they actually have some physical, invisible beerier that prevents them. i guess i am blessed then because i am wearing a soft, flowy skirt right now as i type, and i feel just as much of a man as i did back when i was wearing pants (only better) modesty according to scripture, i covering the leg, the thigh, and according to orthidox jewish customs (which is better to cover more for safety), down to the ankles. why i wear long maxi skirts? because... I'M A MAN i don't wear kilts though i am scottish, kilts are not modest enough, that is why i stay away from them. also the fabric, not soft enough. i like soft, smooth and flowy. also as a man, i don't get social cues and hints and messages. i do what i know works and is right. just because the rest of society is wrong, doesn't mean i should be wrong with them (even if they give me a hard time about how i am right, though they see it not like that) back to the question it looks like, what makes dresses or skirt feminine? are you saying that you would call a man effeminate if you saw one wearing a long skirt and a tshirt with slide on? and taking the name of the LORD in vain now are you?? are you catholic? you know that you sound like a lost, heathen infidel when you curse like that! who is your God? is it the Father? i have my doubts, is it your own belly? more likely seriously woman! get a control of your laughter outbursts! it's annoying. excuse you woman! i find NO beauty in a man's inner privates being heated and squashed by lack of space and thereby sperm cells die off! that is a bunch of swine scrub! you actually think no masculine man has ever or will ever or can ever watch your videos (like this one for example)? this presumption opens you up to being made to be as a fool. it is a folly and shame unto you. i am a 100% pure man (as i established many times) and i am a virgin. i am going to say this, nothing held back (as nothing before this point was held back either, my thoughts in full on this video is all manifest in this comment) that is a whorish outfit! i can see plenty of bodily form there, your knees and the lower section of your thighs. this is NOT modesty according to scripture! tights are a form of pants, with another article if found pertaining to health by garment choice, not wearing tight and skin hugging clothes (like tights) will increase your bodily health in the long term
Jesus said a foundation built on a rock. The rock foundation for marriage is man needs respect & woman needs love. In all cases when it talks about husband & wives the 1st is "wives submit!" The church bride submits & trust in Jesus her husband....not the other way. Can you imagine the church arguing with Jesus, telling him "you can't tell me what to do", "I am not going to listen to you", "I have a headache & will not get up to have intimate time with you Jesus!"
I like that you said "ministry." When Jesus healed Peter's mother-in-law the first thing she did in Luke 4:39 was "minister" to them which means to serve, domestic duties, to wait on, servant duties, to serve food.. etc." So not only was it a miracle healing but in her health she automatically with full health assumed her role.
This really gave me hope and peace of mind knowing that I'm not alone 💕 I'm about to go back to office full-time (my schedule is 8-6) and time and energy for homemaking is going to be very limited, hopefully I'll manage to do it all 😭😭
I've been typed Romantic body type, too. I'm 52 and 5'2". Currently almost 177 pounds.... I look much like you! I've cut my hair short because I've dyed it since I was 41-42. I'm ready to embrace my gray or silver and my natural hair colors. So, now I'm going to let my hair grow back out, from here. I'm also transitioning from 90 percent pants to skirts and dresses 95 percent of the time. I didn't grow up this way. My mother graduated high school in 1961 and has worn pants since I've been a child (the 70s). She used to wear dresses to church. I was never taught about modesty and Godly womanhood. Mom IS a lady, but I don't think she knows God's Word cause she doesn't like reading. She's in church every Sunday .......My dad is in church every Sunday, too. He never talked to me about being a woman of God ... Neither did my second husband. It is my third husband whom I've known for three full years today--- that brought my attention to how a Godly woman dresses. He wasn't bossy or mean about it. He asked a couple days ago what I was watching on my phone. I told him it was videos on modesty. For two days now I've worn skirts. He noticed. Bought me four tie dye tees in larger size than I usually wear. I wore one today with my skirt and he liked it.
