He finished 8th in the MVP voting...8th...because everyone was doing PED's...so was he? People also forget because everyone batted .330 that year. Steroid era was soooo much fun.
Here’s how I would rank the MLB City Connect uniforms MY EYES: Pittsburgh Baltimore San Diego Philadelphia Detroit not my fav: Arizona Boston Minnesota Cleveland Los Angeles (NL) cute ig: Kansas City Chicago (NL) Washington Colorado Texas San Francisco would buy a jersey: Cincinnati New York (NL) Seattle Houston Milwaukee Trea Turner slide-esque: Los Angeles (AL) Chicago (AL) St. Louis Miami Atlanta Tampa Bay Toronto
@@steveg9941we’re back on track now i promise 🤗 we could probably get a great package for esty tbh. i think TA & ward should get moved as well! but people tend to overpay for relievers so i think we could get something great for esty
All hail the mighty Peagle! The Rangers Pegasus is half panther half eagle. It honors the Dallas Eagles and the Fort Worth Panthers (Fort Worth Cats), those two teams merged together in 1965 to become the Dallas/Fort Worth Spurs (there is also a spur on the jersey!), that team played at Turnpike Stadium in Arlington, which would be expanded and renamed to Arlington Stadium when the Senators moved to town in 72 to become the Texas Rangers. Also, Peagle is forever goated because we won the World Series the year it was introduced. I hope it never goes away, in fact, if we do a city connect 2.0 I hope the Peagle alone is our cap logo
Hey, Algorithm... Al... Algo... Big Algaroonie... do the right thing here, eh pal? (Palgorithm?) This lass has a great channel, pick it up and do some of your Algorization, take it where it deserves to go...
There’s nothing San Diego about those jerseys. If those were the Miami city connect it would make sense when I see those I think “Miami Vice”. I also think “good God who would ever wear such a monstrosity.” I love the Angels city connect most but I think it would’ve been cool to see a transposed red version with cream accents.
I swear the Yankees are teasing a city connect jersey. The amount of liberty themed items some of our players have is crazy. That’s gotta be something.
My fav is The Angels oddly enough. Not an Angels fan but I dig the retro baseball look of their CC uni. Overall I’m no fan of the program. The Angels could get away with that as their home kit.
Dodgers got TWO of these things and neither are very good. "Los Dodgers" just makes me laugh. I can see Chris Farley "We are Los Dodgers, which is Spanish for THE DODGERS". Yankees are so obsessed with tradition they didn't want to do one I guess.
The Twins could've had such cool jerseys paying homage to the 10,000 lakes (gradients of blue, gray, and white) but instead we got neon fever dream while you're drowning...
@@Swillysportstechnically the Dodgers have had 3. The last one was like City Connect V1.1. Originally they had those blue pants and hats with the black bill
Former A’s fan here ( i was out once they announced the Vegas move) and obviously sad about the team leaving but also sad because of it we didn’t get a City Connect Uniform 😢
