hi! welcome to my channel! today, we are taking a look back on preseason predictions before the mlb 2024 season started & seeing how they fair now that the season has gotten started. surely everything will maintain this far into the season, so there are no over reactions in this video :) :) i am so happy that the major league baseball season is now under way & we get to talk about how things are going!

I’ve been enjoying all the videos you put out. Idk if I could ask for any more of one type of video because they are all great! The history lesson on the sticky stuff scandal was super fun and you could do tons of different videos with that alone, but please keep putting out everything you like making! My hot take: Juan Soto and Mike Trout will be the front runners for the AL MVP race

As of 08/03/2024, just found your page today and I'm loving your videos! I'm a Texas Rangers fan, but the first pro sports team I ever fell in love was the Anaheim Angels! Keep making fun baseball videos!!!

Thanks for another great video, Swilly! I would love to see some content like: a ranking of your favorite baseball movies, Sporcle quizzes, reactions to great play/blooper compilations...just some thoughts. You're nailing the content so you've made all of the right choices so far. Oh, do you have a card collection? That could make for some good content, too. Thanks for the great content and congrats on 1,000+.

Great video. I'm happy the way The Cubs are going well so far. Shota is awesome. He'll be a Cubs legend in no time at all. As far as your channel content, I think you could do a video on MLBs biggest rivalries, the best MLB stadium experience, life as a MLB fan from a female perspective or a video about your MLB journey from childhood to adulthood. 👍⚾

Trout having that WAR despite being a COF would be amazing. He was a WAR machine coming up, but people have pointed out that was boosted due to there not being much competition offensively at his position. That's half of the WAR formula and Trout being head and shoulders above the rest (or his replacements) he basically got a 20+% WAR boost over COFs like Juan Soto. I'd respect him more if he had a 11 WAR this season! (please do! I got a 2010 auto'd card just waiting for you to show your NOT injury prone!)

I’m in for any and all Angels content. Liking what you’re doing so far! The episode of Locked On Angels brought me here. This was a great overall MLB recap which I also really like. I really LOVED your profile on Brian Wilson! If you know of any interesting current players you could profile, I think that would be fun. I realize they can't all be as colorful as Brian Wilson was, but I tend to miss that kind of background stuff on players mostly just watching games. I would love to have some players to root for not because they are on my Reds, or my fantasy team, but just because I like them. Thanks, Swilly

I reckon you've got this on lock whatever you choose to do. You've come straight out the gate with lots of ducks in a row: production is really solid, you're charismatic and engaging, content's funny and offbeat without feeling forced. To my taste the best would be a variety of episodes, some continuing to look at the current season and some like your recent "sticky stuff" episode looking at interesting stories from baseball-past.

Oakland Athletics are playing 'Major League Movie Simulator 2024' for this season..... They are full of vinegar and spite and I would not be surprised to see them win 75-79 games and spoil the division for some other teams...

i did pick them to win the al east but i’m also shocked by the incredible start they’ve had lol & that’s without judge really impacting the team a ton 😭

@@Swillysports yeah, soto has had a huge impact. it's like the throw he had earlier in the season where he threw that guy out at home against the astros has given them some kind of good luck or something like that, because they've been rolling. haha
