The tragedy of life before Alzheimer is that you can never experience anything for the first time twice. But you can cheat a little; I already know which friend I'll be re-watching this show with, and vicariously recapture some of that magic by seeing it through their eyes for the first time. 😁
Given that they stayed in the same dimension until Mr Frundles incident, it is very likely that this device just made sounds that made squirrels mad and the dialogues are just Rick trolling Morty
my best theory about the squirrels is that happened after cronenbirds, (prime dimension), and before jerry day care swap. This had to have happened in between, in short, beginning of season two timeline.
I love this idea but I also love the idea that Rick has done this before like he fucked with squirrels too hence why every Rick has a anti squirrel stunning device. Lol
Rick should prob add an ai to his backup rerouting system where it finds a universe that has the same ideology’s and stuff so he doesn’t keep running into facist teddy bears and shrimp
Reminder, you can hear the squirrels chattering crazily as they get closer to Morty, but only Morty can actually understand what they’re saying, maybe a gruesome threat or torture. Who knows
The first time that I watched this episode I was so caught up with the 9/11 joke that I didn't notice the civilians they were killing on purpose; at the end, Rick lowers the spaceship to a busy street and then does a space jump.
