Unironic answer: it's liability, the school doesn't want the trouble of defending him. In the real world, his ass gets cut loose even if he's 100% justified, because someone will come to sue, and if he's still with the school they'll sue the school (you always sue the biggest source of money). That will cost the school money even if they win the case, so it's cheaper and easier to do a quiet "resignation" (aka you're fired, but we don't want it to look like a bad thing, so we're telling everyone you left by your own decision. Now get the fuck out) and hire a new guy.
He's better as a side character. If we see Mr. Poopybutthole as a series he won't be as funny as he is when he is on Rick and Morty because we'd be seeing too much of him

I love the scene in general, where the storm is beginning to envelope the town. It’s beautiful. Ominous, granted. I’m sure the implication is that the season is about to get darker and serious, but moreover, I think it’s wonderful that someone took the time and effort to set this kind of mood in a show like Rick and Morty. This scene made the whole episode worthwhile. It’s a relaxing and delightful conclusion.

I think it's really funny how all of his students where really good at martial arts and how the show even points out how odd that is along with the characters themselves being curios as to why that is.
OWE 1101 was an amazing class. Mr. Poopybutthole was an amazing professor, his knowledge on the Theory of the 1000 bot penises is one of a kind. Only complaint, is that he fights with his students, a lot . Still 10/10.
There's a big storm coming. Might be the once per season plot development. Can't wait for the story to conclude in, like... A decade and a half... Or more.
Got a source for that? If what you say is true then Mr. Pb is actually an advanced parasite as Film Theory suggested and the coming storm which is going to be a twister (twist) on Mr. Pb turning out to be a villain.
