Klassically Kept blog was started in June 2017 and now we have introduced a RU-vid channel.
The purpose of Klassically Kept is to let women know that they are beautiful, fully clothed. In this era of body positivity and self-love, sometimes we forget that baring all is still not okay. It is okay to leave something to the imagination. There are ways to be classy and sexy, and this company explores that. with class and grace, Mya-Karren

If you know podcasts chop & screw stuff, then why did you go on a podcast and say something that you know would be chopped & screwed to look a certain way? 🤔 The math ain't mathing
It's all about "The Benjamin" for most.... Some Don't Care.... And stylist need to ask if they can video your experience in the styling/transforming of your hair... Point Blank PeriodT!!
I'm Catholic and I've just gotten married. Also I'm from a conservative Asian country. The tiktoker who critiqued Olivia's dress was not only being disrespectful in general to Olivia and her choices, but was also verging on culturally out-of-touch when she said it's icky that men find their women most beautiful when they are covered up, and that you could be wearing a swimsuit to your wedding and still take it seriously. First of all, a Catholic church can turn you away (even on your wedding day) if you show up looking inappropriate. Secondly, if you have a problem with men saying modesty is attractive, but then turn around and have no problem with men saying they like their girls in miniskirts and croptops, then you are a hypocrite.
I'm a big woman so I'm not trying to be rude but that outfit wasn't flattering on her. If anything it would be appropriate to walk around ikea or a mall to hang out. But I'm curious what type of job she was being interviewed for? Perhaps, Hooters that wears shorter shorts than in comparison they might be ''professional.''
This video alongside with the others that you posted has taught me everything I need to know. I am no longer afraid to manage my hair and I have a lot of it. I just struggle with my hair getting matted when I keep my twist in for too long. Also A Different World is one of my favorite shows. I need to binge watch it too. 😂❤
My hair is natural. I don't care about styling my hair at all. I twist my hair and thats it. Sometimes it get it braided. I'm not like most women. I'm not gonna spend hrs doing anything I'm not getting paid off. Relaxers broke my hair off very bad and gave me endometriosis.
Beautiful skin and hair, thank you always for sharing, revair won't work from UK, bought it and it blew up due to power outage difference here, any other good brand you can recommend? Many thanks
Look, I have always had a different hair texture than most non blacks. My granddaughter is mixed. I basically demanded that my daughter keeps her hair natural, no chemicals...she did and now her 3c hair is absolutely thick, long and magnificent. We are still growing it with proper oils and conditioning. She is 9. I know when she is a young woman, no one will compete with her natural beauty. She tries to wear mine and her mom's makeup, we do not shame but also do not praise this and she's not allowed outside with makeup. She is absolutely beautiful in her natural form and will know her worth. 100% natural is not to be shamed
I'm definitely thinking the braids like everyone else. Again I need to get serious about my chebe journey i recently took out my passion twist and i was pretty diligent on how i got all the regular tangles and shed hair out. But there are some fairy knots 🤦🏾♀️I'm also worried about certain sections of my hair retaining length my hair always looks shorter than it is as my curls are tight. I'm a bit frustrated about this because I'd love to just wear my own hair in mini twist and other styles but it looks a tiny bit uneven so i want to trim and start to retain more length as my hair grows at a decent pace. Mya thanks for keeping me motivated!!! I want to create a good chebe mixture and get the grease as well. I do have a chebe leave in already. sorry for writing a 📖 😅
Good morning! lol to the book comment, its fine. All naturals know about shrinkage lol. If I can inspire yo to embrace your hair, I have done my job. I wish you much success on your journey!
In my experience this product line is very potent. It’s not for protein sensitive hair or hair that has been neglected. If your hair is dry don’t use it! It will not provide enough moisture to help. I use the deep conditioner consistently because my hair is fine and breaks easily but I do not use any of the other products because that would be overkill. Also, naturals have a bad habit of leaving rinse out products in for too long. Stop leaving deep treatments in over night. Rinse it out when the instructions says to.
@@KlassicallyKept do you think you will ever need to use a comb or brush again? I’m about to switch to finger detangling. I hope it can be a long term method.
This happened to me in the 90s. I was trying to grow my hair to shoulder length. I usually get breakage on the back of my head although I regularly washed & conditioned my hair and used hair rollers. I went for my usual appointment but unfortunately had so much breakage that I needed the chop. But my stylist reaction was over the top. She literally said 'I can't deal with this ' and actually said `what are you doing?' I rarely used heat on my relaxed hair and took vitamins but here she was accusing me for sabatoging my own hair when she knew that I was very sensitive about my hair. I was in shock that she can't deal with my hair when she's a licensed cosmetologist and I'm paying her for a service. I could only say that I wasn't prepared to pay extra for a cut and she said that she won't charge me because I seriously needed it. She gave me a mushroom style. I was trying not to cry but my tears went away when she said after I paid her, 'the cut was $20, just letting you know. ` I just looked at her and walked away. As soon as I got home I wrote her a check for $20 and put it in the envelope to mail. Just the check, no letter or even a note. And I never went back to her. Obviously they don't teach in cosmetology school that no matter how much you take care of your hair there are internal issues and skin diseases that can impact it or even such a thing as compassion.
Mya, you have basically just said exactly everything that I am experiencing now. I admittedly a perfectionist and I will toil away with my hair tools and products I pursuit of perfection and it is absolutely having the opposite effect and causing me more harm and stress than anything good and positive. Thx for sharing this and keep posting more content to uplift the community and bringing more of important hair issues to light.
What you are saying about individual factors regarding hair loss issues is 100% correct and I agree with that. A whole lot of education about our hair and scalp and how they react to different ingredients and factors need to be considered when our hair is not growing to the best of its ability and when we are experiencing hair loss issues. It’s common courtesy to let the consumer know and understand what is going on their hair and scalp. I will be searching hard for enlightenment on this subject in more depth.
If you want to be successful in any endeavor and/or business venture you do not need to be acquired by a bigger corporation or conglomerate to see growth, profit and success. The product or service will speak for itself. If you are going to do something great for the community, keep it at that and don’t change anything to “level up”! Success is not a justification for doing bad business. If it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it! It’s that simple! If you sell a bad product, word will get out and you will actually lose money. So there you go!
I used the edge control gel from the Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint line and it totally eat my edges off near my temples and I threw that s**t out! The correlation and connection between the products before the acquisition and after is eerie to me and how is it that the brand has a lot of complaints after the acquisition? Hmmmm!
I will be reading the labels on hair care products and appliances from now on and really getting more information about my hair, what it needs and general education about hair and how it reacts to different products and ingredients that are included in the product.
Yasssss! This is something that I never knew about and I thank you for all this important information. And I absolutely love your head wrap and dress! ❤
See that's why I don't go to the salon anymore. I already have anxiety arou d my hair due to multiple bad experiences with hairstylists. This didn't help. I haven't been to the salon since 2018.
