You Mainers really know how to get down. Im a Montanan and I can truly relate to your way of life. Ill be heading out to Maine in a month and I can't wait to hook into some of those brookies. Cheers from Montana.
great video. question. Is Sims Hideaway camps still running? it's on the east side of Keineo cliffs. I can not find a contact any ware. would love to take the wife up to a cabin. spent many many days fishing from there. always drove in, should have smartened up and take my boat from Rockwood, oh well I am from Maine and love the BackWoods.
Good morning, thanks for sharing your experience on Long Lake, was just up there on Fathers day. How fast are you trolling, what speed? How deep? What are you using for lures…thought I saw a spoon? How much does it cost to rent the cabin? Do you keep any how big to keep them? How far back to you have that lure from the boat? You guys make it look easy…hahaha
I think I know where he is. I will not give it away, because it is a hell of a spot and it would be a shame if it get over fished but it is about 20 miles from the town of Greenville
Not bad fishing you didn't get skunked, You keep putting them fish back my mouth kept watering. nice fish and wild life. Bugs as big as that little deer.
We have some great trout up here in Doverfoxcroft on the Piscataquis river. I metal detect the river, and see fish all over. Best part is there is always a wind and hardly any bugs :) plus, there are brownies, salmon, and small mouth. Its artificial lure only from Guilford to Atkinson. Right now the river is very low, below your knees in most parts :) If you ever come out to try, reach out to me, I can tell you the best spots :) I have hunted over 5 mile of this river and know all the deep holes :) Nice fish and video MU !!! My name is Dennis by the way :)
