Stock rear end? Any issues wit it? Just picked up a svo rearend with 3.73 gears nd curious how muxh abuse it handled being a 7.5 instead of a 8.8 thanks
So obvious tho..Use shleem to smooth the dinglebop, push dinglebop through grumbo, rub the fleeb, apply shlami spit, cut the fleeb, rub against chumbles, remove plubis and grumbo and bam a regular ol' plumbus...everyone knows this
We have installed a 4th axis on our fanuc 6M controlled Enshu VMC and got to the point where the servo powers up and is kept from rotating by the controller and we have no fault alarms, but there's a lock signal that prohibits us from moving the axis. Are you familiar with this?
Can't say that I am, and this was a long time ago. Something to consider, CNC controller retrofits have gotten MUCH cheaper and easier over the years. Also unlocks easier programming via CAM programs.
the chip takes the heat out of the cutting process, coolant is for lubrication, rust inhibitor, if the piece in the mc is hot you machining parameters are wrong
Haha that's why you gotta make sure you already in a straight line when driving these while going fast, cause they just turn real quick soon as you turn when going fast.
If it's a 5.4 the 4.165 is making some insane piston speed so kudos to the build even a shorter stroke is achievement. Obviously well put together or we'd see grenade activity
wrong 301 is alot smaller than a 400 block or a 455 I know pulled piece of crap 301 out of a 79 grand Prix put in a 455 had to re measure for engine mounts also was running 400 turbo with mile markers three extra over drives it was a monster but at high speeds around 198 mph she wanted to leave the ground so never got it that fast again yes that was radar speed
Hello, could you help and send me couple of pictures for the PC parameter? I lost all of them, I didn't realize PC parameter can't be downloaded until recent. Thank you.
+magicmarker1369 You used a CBN wheel to grind HSS or High Speed Steel tools because of carbon content in Steel it is thus not suitable to used a Diamond wheel which also contains carbon element. Diamond wheel if for Grinding of Carbide and mainly non ferrous material..
cutting tools are determined by cost and application. diamond can cut all including diamond, same with e.d.m. those other comments did not make any sense.
nick chua the reason diamond is not used for ferrous materials is that the diamond (which is carbon) reacts with iron at high temperatures to form iron carbide. The wheel will break down too quickly
Daddy get him a new one? IIRC, the guy was old enough to have a grandkid from the stories going around when this was getting posted at the various car forums around the 'net. Proves you can be an ignorant dumbass at any age.
9500 is great and all but not that big of a deal .My old landlord has a 500ci bigblock that has a 10500k redline naturally aspirated thats WELL over 1000 hp.Just takes money.
Keith Gadway No, the 265 and 301s made from 1977-1981, are short deck versions of the larger engines. All the other Pontiacs were the same block dimensions though.
