@FatedRaver sounds healthy to me , there are many reasons a motor will lay down, mostly tune and driver error though, a build error on the dyno at 9500 would def show weakness/ dam due to build error. over boost over shoot over rev, come to mind. What did the 1st filter look like? Clean? If not why didn't someone pull it down? Sounds like driver/tuner error.
If it's a 5.4 the 4.165 is making some insane piston speed so kudos to the build even a shorter stroke is achievement. Obviously well put together or we'd see grenade activity
What's your valve train look like in this thing? Did you do a custom CAM grind so you could REV this high or are you just rolling the dice or what? What's the timing look like at WOT? How many degrees etc...thanks
u see this is the bad thing about NA engines even tho its 1000hp ON THE COMPUter it real horse power it get down on the floor ie BHP will be about a fraction of the 1000 HP i know Turbo chargeers are look down upon becuz of their lag but whit a (MSF) Misfire system it can become just as reponsive as a NA engine
9500 is great and all but not that big of a deal .My old landlord has a 500ci bigblock that has a 10500k redline naturally aspirated thats WELL over 1000 hp.Just takes money.
