Hey man, awesome setup you have. We have a tiny townhouse with a stupid roof so not much room unfortunately. I would love to have gone big like that but only have 3.7kw of panels. Anyway, that sungrow has 2 MPPT inputs right? Do you have your East and West strings connected in Parallel into one of those strings and the North on it's own string? Also, are you on pvoutput? Cheers for the video!
@@andrewford80 Hi mate It's a bit hard without the roof space. Anything is definitely better than nothing though I reckon. Mine is a 3 string inverter. I've never heard of pvoutput, I'll check it out. Thanks for the comment 👍🏼
@@offgriddreaming5403 Yeah I agree, anything is better than nothing! Thanks for the info about your tripple MPPT, that is cool. I think it makes sense for inverters to include more than 2 trackers but it historically hasn't been as common.
@@Olivierus Yes, there are often options before checkout, but unfortunately there are no options with this box. The packing list says the box comes with pcbs etc. It wasn't until after the box arrived i found out they don't make pcb boards for the 105ah box.
You said it isnt what was advertised ? Are you stupid or something ? Get your money back and name the seller. Sellers like this shouldn't be online. You are way too soft man. Don't make a video about it. Go after the seller, he lied to you.
Thank so much for posting this. Had the same issue, but now thanks to you sharing my Lilly Pillys are thriving, doubled in size with so much new growth, thanks
Hi mate, not sure where you're located but there is a place in rowville Victoria that will hook you up with the special double sided tape and other info to correctly install these with an air gap underneath. I think they are called solar 4 rvs or similar. ✌🏼
I BUY THIS PLANT ESPECIALLY FOR MY AUSTRALIAN LEAF INSECTS I HAVE , THEY DONT /ARNT BEETLES OR GRUBS THESE JUST LOOK LIKE A GREEN LEAF AND BLEND IN PERFECTLY, THEY CANT FLY EITHER, BUT THEY DO LOVE THIS PLANT A LOT
Have these (2x 310w) for 2 years now on my boat and they are worth every cent because they aren't cheap to buy. Very tough panels but the junction boxes on mine have sun damage and are a concern, I would recommend the bottom mounted junction boxes. They harvest sunlight like no panel I've had before with a record 4kws produced in a single day compared to the 2.3kws from traditional glass panels which needed frame work to support the weight, These I lay on netting to keep cool on the boats roof having a 5cm air gap for Qld summers. Am atm saving for 2 x 430w panels to run the air-con off a seperate battery bank. Overall I love the low weight, Low profile and high output.
Hi there, I bought one wind and solar controller ,I think I damage it by connection, the screen become Blank ,could you please tell me where I should check and how? also change? here the video I upload ,I will be appreciate if you help me! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P_z8N0hm4KM.html
I just donated mine a few week ago. Those things are a lot of fun if you can still find one. Walmart sold them for a few years , But I don't think they sold that well. I was an Assembly Contractor with Walmart and was able to get it with a great discount as a "Backlot Bargain" for $50.00
did the beetle problem come back? i did some research and some say the larvae breed in the soil and spraying the leaves is not effective as they will return? just want to hear from your experience, my lilly pilly are attached by this too. Thanks.
Hi I think I mention the life cycle in the video. You may need to continue the treatment periodically. I have since moved, so not sure how they are now
It would be very difficult to rebuild a milwaukee battery as the pcb kinda shuts itself down when there is a fault. Have you tested the voltage with a multimeter? Maybe it's just low voltage in which case you may be able to jump strat it. Good luck 👍🏻
Hi I’ve just got sone of the same neem oil but the instructions are different to what you said. So 6ml per 1 litre of water.. is that correct. Many thanks
I just bought a Joker Pantera off Amazon and delivered for $50 in Qld. It’s a smaller knife with a flat grind but beautifully made for the price. I have a Condor Bushman Parang, a Condor Terrasaur and this Joker that pretty much covers me for all my outdoor needs and all three under $250au. Not bad at all on the budget end.
Thanks for this great video. I had used Eco-Neem but only once; I'll try your idea of once a week over 2-3 weeks and report back. My Lilly Pillies re my pride and joy and I'd love to see them thriving again.
I put a 310w on my Hiace pop top camper - way better than crap heavy space draining 150w fold outs - mounted it on 5mm corflute strips - getting 30% output in winter - cant wait till spring / summer
Never run these at their max rated voltage. I found ~75pvdc to be their limit. They work best when you use multiple chargers rather than 1 big one. So like 1 for every 2-3 solar panels.
You mentioned it was working fine, then you setup your 48v system, and plugged it back in. Are you implying that you plugged this into a 48v battery? If so that was you problem. The 30a tracers only do up to 24v
Very useful! I was wondering how your Voilamart is behaving three years down the track? I live rural and would need 45k actual range with smallish hills involved. I was thinking that might be 60k to be safe, would that be14S 6P, not sure how that equates to Ah? I would love to get second hand celIs, but would be worried about being ripped off. Is it cheaper for a newbie to build their own (new), or get something off the shelf? You obviously have a lot of battery knowledge, I was wondering if you have any interest in sourcing battery parts yourself and selling parts for self-assembly or as complete kits? Tall ask, but you never know!! Many thanks.
Hi Sorry for the late reply. I would highly recommend the voilamart kit. I think that pack was 14s 5p. I would have a go at building a battery if you have some electrical knowledge, otherwise maybe try and find someone who could build one for you. If not off the shelf might be the go. Hope that helps
