I have a feeling to pull it apart, you slide the black end caps off (look for screws first), and then undo the screws on the carry handle, and the two yellow halves will seperate.
Obviously the SOC indicator means nothing while it's charging then. This is probably a stupid comment but... It could be a fuse on the AC side? Anything hidden anywhere? Could be internal I guess.
