What kind of pressure washer is this ?! I have had mine for 30 yrs. My grandfather bought it new with the Honda GX engine. AND O NEED A REPLACEMENT PUMP !! Who sold this very same cart that’s in these two videos from this guy ? Plz. Mine has a General Pump . Cant be found anymore. Mine was bought in the very late 1980’s. Best pressure washer I’ve ever used and it worked for 30 yrs and this is why I want it fixed like new. I would appreciate any information on this washer. My unloader looks like this one. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

It went on very easily - 10 minutes at most. Feels like a lot more power than the original but that's to be expected. Can't tell a difference when cleaning with the wand or floor sprayer. Would recommend as it was cheaper than most I found. The maintenance free aspect is definitely a plus too. Have used it through about 6 tanks of gas and have zero issues so far.
I loosed the black regulator dial on top too much. The black dial came off. I can’t get it back on. The threads won’t catch with the spring installed. Any tips to reinstall that disk are appreciated.
My pressure washer is 4 gallons per minute with a belt drive. The unloader is pulsing up and down with a banging sensation. Any idea why that is? Thanks
I just had one of these snap off on a honda pressure washer and I have to go get an easy out to get the broke off threads out to replace it but I can't find this injector valve anywhere.
My Briggs and Stratton SpeedClean 2800 PSI has worked so well however now the chemical injector only draws from my soap/chemical bucket when the unit is off. When the engine is not running it works like a champ! When the engine is on and running properly, it will not draw from the bucket at all. I purchased a replacement injector, ball, spring, and hose and after installing no change. I took off the manifold and checked the o-rings and valves and all looked clean and clear. I removed the unloader valve and it seems to work as expected. I am using the correct black nozzle attachment. I've tried lowering the water pressure at my faucet. Again, works exactly as expected with the engine is not on. Any ideas how I can get it to work again when the engine is on for that little extra pressure for applying chemical/soap?
my 35000# pressure washer from northern tool , will, run fine using the soap noozle, but when i put high press' noozle on it'll run afew minutes then quit, but will start again an d run another few minutes and quit, i disabled low oil pressure switch, to eleminate that problem. any idea what is causing this problem?
You mentioned using oil or Vaseline to lubricate the "o" ring. Bad idea! Both contain petroleum distillates, which will immediately begin to degrade the rubber that the ring is made from. Typically, the first sign of that degradation is the o-ring will swell out of shape. Plumbers lubricant, or silly as it might sound, KY Jelly or an equivalent sexual lubricant will not degrade rubber (for obvious reasons!). I learned this firsthand when replacing the rubber seals on my discharge hose of my above ground pool. I used Vaseline, which IMMEDIATELY allowed the sealing ring to stretch out of correct size when the nut ring was tightened against it. I went to a pool store for the proper pool ring lube, and found that a toothpaste tube of it was near $20.00. Another customer overheard my story, and sent me to the dollar store, next door, where they sold an off-brand of sexual lubricant for ONE DOLLAR! Same ingredient as the $20.00 tube, next door!
What would the symptom be if the water volume was too low? My washer seems to “ lose prime” and then work for 30 seconds to a minute then lose prime again (low pressure).
This is a great video - all in one place. I would like to see a video on what hoses go where. I am sure mine is set up incorrectly: the detergent somehow ends up going through the pump and into the holding tank!
