I saw this as a kid and it literally traumatized me , but nowadays I’ve seen worse. moral of the story: don’t worry , you won’t remember that absouloutely soul destroying trauma if you just get newer fresh trauma ! 👍
It’s funny how other portrayals of this gag have the characters speak in a matter-of-fact kind of tone, like they made a declaration on the fly, but here it almost sounds as though the cat was waiting for this moment its whole life.
For the curious this short was Bob Clampett's An Itch in Time. Released on December 4th 1943. Just a few days shy of the 2nd (tragic) anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks.
Works easy enough for me. You tell it to start from the middle or the corner then drag out your shape and rotate it if you have it set that way. You then have a ruler to snap your pen onto. Pretty simple.
Not when I were a lad in the 70s growing up in Australia, but I can understand why they cut it. I left that bit out intentionally, because I didn't want the suicide in the upload.

Mate, I wish I could. I only managed to get this one because someone emailed me the mp3. Three years ago now, so no idea who sent it now. I'm lucky if I can remember breakfast nowadays. Soz. :)
I do believe quite a huge chunk of the album was made up of their prank calls strung together with a backing track. But it's been a while, so don't quote me on that.
Hey, I have a question: I dunno what I did but suddenly my hand tool wasn't there anymore and I've tried and tried and tried but it doesn't come back. I've reseted my workspace already but it isn't there! ;A; (I dunno what to do, it sucks drawing without it pls help me)
Try clicking on the icon that's now where the hand tool icon used to be and see if any tabs are at the top of the next section over. It may be in there. If it is, click on it and the hand tool will return. The icons always resemble which ever tab was last chosen if there were other tabs to choose from for that particular icon space.
